I have got one good quality embryo and going to implant in September.

Good luck @CloudyIvy55 for your transfer tomorrow!!
I started my bleed yesterday so started on estrogen today and got my scan booked in for Friday 5th

CloudyIvy55 · 26/08/2025 15:08

@jenk91thank you so much! Definitely feeling a little anxious now but it's also so exciting!

Hope your first scan goes well!

MyAgileZebra · 26/08/2025 18:53

Good luck @CloudyIvy55. Hopefully the first successful transfer with many to follow 🤞🏼

CloudyIvy55 · 27/08/2025 11:50

Transfer done! Feeling very surreal!

Fingers and toes crossed for you!!

Ive had my PGT-A results back and we have 3 euploid embryos, ecstatic! I’ve also managed to move our consultant appointment forward from next Wednesday to tomorrow. Very pleased as we may actually be able to do our transfer on my next cycle now. There will be almost 3 weeks to sort out any admin etc

CloudyIvy55 · 27/08/2025 12:57

@AlmostTime that's amazing news!! You must be so pleased!

FluentTealGuide · 27/08/2025 16:13

Hi all, hoping okay if I join as I've just confirmed we can do an FET in September. I was in the June IVF group and I recognise a few in here who also had to go frozen like me.

We've been TTC #2 for 2.5 years. We did an IVF cycle in June, which was supposed to be fresh but we had to freeze (blastocyst). Wanted to go straight into a frozen cycle but had to delay due to a health scare and then further delay due to the hospital letter getting stuck in the post for 3 weeks after I'd been given the all-clear. (The clinic needed the letter to proceed.)

I thought I'd have to wait another cycle, but we've managed to fit in the bloods, scan and nurse consultation in the last few days to go ahead with my next cycle – which is due 1 September.

Rough estimation on FET is 18–22 Sept 🤞🏻.

CloudyIvy55 · 27/08/2025 16:34

Hi @FluentTealGuideI recognise your name from previous posts! So glad you can get going and wishing you lots of luck!

FrostedFlake · 27/08/2025 19:15

Sorry to be gatecrashing but for some reason I decided to pop into the September group and have seen both of you @jenk91 and @Kr0 and I recognised you from the Jan and April groups. I hope you had a lovely summer and your bodies have recovered and you have taken the well needed break and that this cycle is the one for both of you! Sending you all of the baby fairy dust magic! ❤️❤️❤️

jenk91 · 28/08/2025 15:33

Nice to hear from you @FrostedFlake (even though I wish we weren’t still on here!!). Hope you are doing ok and wishing you lots of luck 💜

Kr0 · 28/08/2025 18:41

@FrostedFlake thank you for your message. Same as @jenk91 wish we weren’t here but I did have a lovely summer thank you. Thanks for all the luck. Hope everything is ok with you xx

FrostedFlake · 28/08/2025 19:19

Thank you both @jenk91 @Kr0! I know, it’s been such a long road for all of us ❤️ we had a FET this month and so far testing positive 🥹 but after a few losses it’s so hard to get hopeful in case it all comes crumbling down again.

AlmostTime · 28/08/2025 19:48

We had our consultant review today, despite moving it forward a week Care are still not confident they can fit me in to start FET next month. (AF due 16th September)

So while wasting a week for an appointment next week was definitely going to push us out a month, it seems there is generally a slim chance of starting right after PGT-A results regardless if when the review appointment is in your cycle.

At least a tried!

Just posting for anyone reading to set their expectations that once you’re ‘in treatment’ there are still waiting lists between cycles and steps, I wish I’d known.

Seems mad to think when I was referred by my GP November 2024, I waited to book on a ski trip with my friends in February 2025 until the last minute as I thought there was a chance I would need to be at home for IVF referral tests/ scans etc.
At this rate I could probably join this winters trip, which would take my mind if this, but i’d rather be pregnant at home 🙁

Dont get me started on skipping travels in Zika regions for the past 4 years 😛

Another vote for not putting your life on hold!

Peonies94 · 28/08/2025 20:20

Have my planning appointment with dr tomorrow then nurse booked in for a little over a week! Annoyingly period due in a week so looking like it’ll be 5 weeks before we start our cycle now! Will still follow along though! Waiting to hear sbout ordering meds or sourcing meds as well! 🤦‍♀️

CloudyIvy55 · 29/08/2025 08:26

So frustrating for those who are waiting - I think waiting in-between appointments and next steps is one of the most frustrating parts!

I am now 2 days after transfer and I've never known time move so slowly 😂

Kr0 · 29/08/2025 09:01

@AlmostTime @Peonies94 sorry you are both struggling to get in with your clinics. It is so frustrating that timings aren’t working out. And we are all just desperate to get on with it, as we’ve all waited long enough!

AlmostTime · 29/08/2025 14:10

My persistence has paid off!

I contacted Care last night to follow up on next steps after the consultant appointment yesterday.

We have managed to read all the paperwork, watch the education videos and complete the consent forms today and we are now booked to see the nurse on Tuesday next week. This wouldn’t have worked if we had been in the office so very glad today is a work from
home day for us both.

If last time is a realistic comparison the nurse will issue the prescription on Tuesday and then I can book the pharmacy delivery for the following week, so we still stand a chance to organise all this before the 16th September when my next cycle starts! Phew

CloudyIvy55 · 29/08/2025 14:42

Yes! @AlmostTimethat's very exciting! Well done 👏

Peonies94 · 29/08/2025 21:08

Just crossing everything that it does land ok for me, but not so sure as I’ll have to order meds too 🤞

@AlmostTime grest news everything should work out ok for you this cycle! 🤞

@CloudyIvy55 yes wait times are soo frustrating!

Coffeechocolatebooks123 · 30/08/2025 02:39

My period was late but finally started on Wednesday. I have been given progynova and then have another scan in just over a week. Is anyone at a similar point of their cycle with progynova? I have been given a dose of 8mg per day, which seems to be slightly higher than average?

Peonies94 · 30/08/2025 07:06

@CloudyIvy55 I can’t imagine! Hope you’ve got something nice to keep you busy!

is there anything extra anyone is doing to help during the cycle? Extra vitamins, foods anything like that?

@Coffeechocolatebooks123 goodluck!

jenk91 · 30/08/2025 08:19

@Coffeechocolatebooks123 yes I’m super similar! Period started Monday, got scan Friday 5th. I’m also on 8mg, last time I was on 6mg but at my scan my lining wasn’t thick enough so they upped dose, so I think this time they just trying 8 from the start!

Hopeandfaith1990 · 30/08/2025 12:55

Hi all, hopping over from the August thread. I've unfortunately just had a failed transfer with 1 of our 3 euploid embryos from a collection in June. I'm CD1 and hoping to go straight into prepping for another transfer (although I'm prepared for my clinic to say no).

I did a medicated transfer but I think I'm going to ask to change to a natural modified one this time (again not sure if clinic will allow!). Has anyone done this before? If you are on/have done a natural modified what did you protocol look like?

Luck and babydust to all! x

So similar!! Have you had many side effects from the tablets yet?
I am guessing this is classed as medicated? The doctor didn't use the terms medicated and natural.
