September is here- Good luck to everyone!
I had the nurse planning meeting today and have arranged for the pharmacy delivery for Thursday so assuming that works out, we’re now all set for starting when AF arrives in 2 weeks time ☺️
Definitely worth persistence, my original consultant appointment was booked for tomorrow. Each time I’ve spoken to the Care team I have taken the opportunity to say- we would like to start asap, there are x number of days until I’m due. They have all been very supportive in getting me here! If we’d waited to see the consultant, it would be cutting things very fine, especially if AF is early.
One confusing point was the consultant last week said to keep taking daily CoQ10 (400mg), despite agreeing we have 3 good embryos so progressing to FET is the best course of action for us. The nurse today has said to stop taking CoQ10, as egg retrieval is done, but continue with the other supplements.
I’ve decided to keep taking it as advised by Dr I also bought £40 worth yesterday and I plan to then ask when I contact Care to say AF has arrived in 2 weeks time. If we’d done a fresh transfer I would have been taking it up to 5 days before the transfer, so it makes sense to continue for at least another 2-4 weeks at least.
Mixed conclusions from research papers as to whether CoQ10 helps or hinders implantations. Most research is on egg quality only rather than its impact (if any) on the bodies ability to grow womb lining and support implantation.
Out of interest what have others been advised?
I’m also taking:
Proceive Max woman
Boots bump & beyond
Omega 3
Vitamin D 2000IU
Totals for the combined doses of Vit D and folate are at the top of the theraputic range- so he has a plan…
