Is anyone else doing a FET in Spetember?
I have got one good quality embryo and going to implant in September.
Anyone else doing the same? Would be good to chat to help with all this waiting!!

Thanks @camelinastormim really sorry to hear about your failure and early losses. Sounds like you made a very wise decision not to wait, I would do the same. I feel so under pressure now due to my age. I think I’ll get a full blood screening too just to check everything is in order before the last attempt.

@blossomhoney2 my GP was very supportive and did literally everything from hormonal testing to thyroid to liver functions there is so many things that they don't check before you start ivf that can have an impact I did 3 rounds before I personally requested my thyroid checked and boom it was off so annoying, as maybe them others would have stuck, I mean they may not have but who knows and it's so expensive I bet I'm 30k min down up to now, I don't even dare add it up tbh as it's scary x
Just pop to your GP with concerns and they should sort it

So I decided to turn down the bloods, just couldn’t bring myself to travel to hear it all over again! Goodluck @FluentTealGuide !

We ended up doing a test this afternoon (after a 5-hour hold, so very reliable) as I really didn’t think the FET had worked and couldn’t bear the idea of seeing a negative and then having to go straight to drop my son at school and head off on the train to the clinic for bloods. Well, we actually got a positive, but it’s only showing 1–2 weeks and took a while to show up. I also did a blue-dye test with the same urine sample and it was faint. I’m 11dp5dt, so that’s the equivalent of 16dpo, right? We had a chemical/MC in January, with a faint line, too, at 18dpo, so it’s hard not to feel like history is repeating itself. I’ll hopefully have a more definitive answer when I get my bloods tomorrow, as they will (presumably) show whether I’m at the right level for this stage. Until then I’m having really mixed feelings.

@FluentTealGuide I'm sorry to hear you're so up in the air... fingers crossed its positive news tomorrow. Could it be a later implantation? And 5 hour hold is possibly reliable but hopefully more diluted than you think. Hoping it turns round for you tomorrow 🤞❤️

FluentTealGuide · 29/09/2025 16:33

Thanks @StillBelieving2. I had my bloods done and HCG is 103, progesterone is 97 – so they’re going to repeat on Thursday. The nurse was very positive and talking about booking the 7-week scan, but it’s hard to get excited. I found a chart online for 12dp5dt and with my levels it gave a 40% chance of continuing pregnancy, which isn’t promising, but then the FET had a 40% chance of success, too, so… It’s going to be a long 3 days.

@FluentTealGuide congrstulations on getting a line, but sorry your having such an up and down! Honestly it’s so hard! Hope your bloods bring you good news, I’ve everything crossed for you🤞🤞

StillBelieving2 · 30/09/2025 07:49

@FluentTealGuide I'm sure it must be so hard, it feels like relentless waiting! Fingers crossed it was a late implantation and you're just a little behind where you expected - but can imagine how you feel!

I'm so up and down this round, my last transfer I was so calm about testing and waited to OTD with no issue...this morning 7DPT and tested negative with a cheapie which I know is unreliable but still feeling out. I'm also so sick of goggling symptoms that just say oh you could be pregnant but also... you might not 🤣🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I've had nausea twice and couldn't finish my favourite coffee, which were both symptoms from a natural surprise pregnancy we had in '23 that ended in early miscarriage..

@FluentTealGuide got everything crossed for you. And glad you got a positive.

@StillBelieving2 sometimes the cheapies are unreliable. Still hoping for you!
