September FET

Is anyone else doing a FET in Spetember?
I have got one good quality embryo and going to implant in September.
Anyone else doing the same? Would be good to chat to help with all this waiting!!

@ALittleExpressive That is similar to me, I was put on oestrogen patches to thicken my lining and today was 6.7mm which they seem happy to go ahead with, although Google seems to suggest that is still on the thin side 🤷🏼‍♀️. My transfer has been delayed to the 11th.

Hi all, would love to join, I had my transfer today following a natural cycle. I am just on progesterone now. Hoping the days fly by as test date is 15th Sept xxx

Thanks @CloudyIvy55 - it's our first frozen transfer. We were extremely lucky to have a successful fresh transfer in 2022, with a frozen embryo left from that round, so we have decided to see if we can be as lucky second time round. I feel extremely grateful to be able to go into this with the mindset that I have, that what will be will be, but I'm absolutely terrified of reopening all of those feelings of hope and excitement to have them dashed in a week or so. But I'm just trying not to think about it and stay calm and positive. We have unexplained fertility and I'm pretty sure we won't try any further rounds of IVF if this isn't successful but I'm trying not to overthink it too much xxx

My pharmacy delivery arrived yesterday so all set now! The Care team were amazing to turn everything around so quickly.

Counting down for AF in 2 weeks so I can start for FET

The wait is so so hard!! I'm hoping a busy work week will just distract me. So excited for the day to come but can't fully comprehend the disappointment I will feel if its negative. I'm just assuming it's positive and hoping that's enough to make it want to stick around!

How are you getting on @CloudyIvy55 ? Do you think you will manage to wait until OTD to test?

I had a scan this morning, all good and transfer booked for next Friday! Now I just want to get it done because the anticipation is too much!

I had a scan today and my transfer is now booked for Thursday. Exciting times for everyone, hope you are all doing well!

I've decided to test on 14th rather than 15th so if its negative we have sunday to digest it all rather than rushing to work early on the morning 🙈

@MyAgileZebra whst day of your cycle are you at now? We have a scan tomorrow to check lining again! Period only stopped today so unsure how it’s going to look but 🤞🤞

@Peonies94 I am on day 16, I have a blood test on Monday and all being well transfer on Wednesday. All the best for the scan 🤞🏼

I'm 10dp5dt transfer...I caved....I tested... and it's positive!!! I can't believe it!

I had my scan today, 10 days until transfer!!! Is anyone using the glue? This has been suggested by my doctor.

@MyAgileZebra ohh I'm so glad to hear they let you go ahead. I hear you on the thin lining issues. Same same!

My pre-transfer scan yesterday showed my lining was hovering around 7mm, so they were considering estrogen patches to bring my lining up further (they had already increased my estrogen tablets to four per day), but they decided against it and just pushed me out another three days till Monday, when I'll have another scan. They also did an estrogen blood test and I was low. I also have a fairly chunky cyst that appears to be outside my uterus, but right up against it, which doesn't seem to be in the implantation area. All in all I think they're making a good decision to review on Monday... hopefully my lining fluffs up a tad morn in the meantime.

Fingers crossed that'll I'll be transferring soon after @jenk91 and @MyAgileZebra ...!

I'm definitely in shock...I keep looking back at the test because I can't believe it 😂 and it didn't take long for the initial excitement to make way for anxiety 🤦‍♀️ but physically I'm feeling fine. I had sore boobs and some slight cramping but I know that's almost likely the progesterone atm rather than true pregnancy symptoms.

Now, I wait for for my OTD, which is Tuesday, test again and if it's still positive, let the clinic know 😬

I’m late to the group, having had my FET on the same day as @CloudyIvy55. I was reading the posts for some support during this anxious waiting period and am so pleased to see this positive result - congratulations! We had one viable embryo after three egg collections and as I think it’s our one chance (with my eggs a least) I’m feeling a bit too nervous to test before OTD on Monday at the moment. Wishing everyone all the best!
