as i said before, i don't doubt the illness as i don't think max clifford would be stupid enough to fake this as he knows it would only end badly if they got caught, and while he may be a slime ball he is far from stupid when it comes to PR.

what i have no doubt in my mind is that they sat on the information and rolled it out at a time when it would ellicit the most sympathy and gather most attention.
i mean would any self respecting doctor really have discussed results like this over the phone let alone on camera in front of others without prior consent?

also it could not be more perfect PR logic than to reassociate her with the big brother race row and her attempts to atone for past mistakes and then make a new association in the publics mind so that the race row is now overshadowed by her tragic illness.

so call me a cynic but judging this on past performance. and while yes i feel sorry for anyone facing cancer, it does detract slightly from my sympathy when i see them (in my opinion) to be exploiting their illness for financial gain and for self promotion.

It doesn't really add up, but then that could be due to misreporting from the media.

If she's collapsed a few times recently and has had blood loss, I am surprised she went to India (but I do understand she has to make money somehow, and Jade Gooddy's options are limited I imagine). Also, would cervical cancer in the early stages cause the symptoms she's been experiencing, which to me seem rather serious symptoms?

BUT she has lo's to earn a wage for..! Ffs, are any of you self employed..? God forbid it never happens..BUT what would you do if faced in a similar situation where you have been in/out hospital for a few years, no answers given then you have a trip away planned with work, in middle of tests etc..would you not continue with your job and loose your wage (which you may rely on in the future..)

or would you not continue with your job till you got confirmed results..? Sit at home waiting... Yeah sure your head would be everywhere BUT as she said herself, she needs to think financially for her lo's future....and ALSO maybe she couldn't be arsed with further criticism.

it does people on here, too, all the time. there are many threads on here from people facing colpo/biopsy and treatments for CINII/III and/or cancer in situ.

there's even someone on here who recently had a hysterectomy for cervical cancer.

so the problem some people have is that she continued to work while awaiting the results of a test to see if she had cancer. How very dare she, the woman should have got into bed and done nothing. As a single mother, no - just as a mother - I bet she is shitting herself about her future, her children's future, paying her mortgage, providing for her children. Oh how dare she carry on earning a wage and getting on with jobs she had already committed herself to.

Fame and wealth is relative. Even if she is famous, even if she does earn a lot she probably still has to pay a mortgage, she probably still wants to maintain a career.

What a horrible bunch of people some of you are. Not least because you seem unable to overcome your completely irrational dislike of someone you don't even know to the extent that you won't believe she has cancer.

well thanks to her chosen "profession" i don't have to know her as she has let the world know exactly everything about her without people asking.
and a dislike for someone isn't irrational if you have a logical reason for it. my reason is that she is the embodiment of something very wrong in soceity today.famous for the sake of fame rather than talent.famous for being vacuous, ignorant,rude and loudmouthed.
oh and also famous for being racist, a fairly rational thing to dislike someone for i'd imagine.

Oh well, I think being bitchy about someone who has been diagnosed with cancer says more about the horribleness of people than jade Goody's rise to fame says about society. If you are ok with it then fair enough.

i think her career as it is means she cannot turn down an opportunity like this whether or not she was waiting for results

maybe she thought the likliehood of it being cancer was low given her age etc
