It is said there are 200 pages of it. It could probably win the Cooker Prize for Fiction. It is the sort of thing that was probably cooked up by one of the Oxbridge teams.

How dense do they think we are? They are asking us whether we want the Norway model, the Canada model or the Papa New Guinea model? All we want is out and as soon as possible!

"One backbencher said that the Remain campaign's 'Project Fear' approach had 'turned into Project Utter Cr**'. "

nauticant this is indeed perhaps the best illustration of the "process over substance" nature of the remain campaign, although I freely admit I am not going to sit through 12 hours of it any more than I am going to wade through GO's to the pence calculations of the completely unpredictable.

A4Document · 22/04/2016 16:27

All Brexiters know he was joking and appreciate his witty sense of humour

Yes Smile Surely the "tea bag rule" was a metaphor for all rules which he felt were silly.

A4Document · 22/04/2016 16:32

So are all politicians on the "Remain" side unimpeachable?

PigletJohn · 22/04/2016 16:38

A4, I think you should know that Boris is in the pay of Putin's henchmen, as Russia hopes to isolate UK from the EU*

Lookingagain · 22/04/2016 17:23

Got any proof of that piglet?

Lookingagain · 22/04/2016 17:23

Got any proof of that piglet?

PigletJohn · 22/04/2016 18:04

A4 knows how true it is.

Lookingagain · 22/04/2016 18:29

In all seriousness, that would be treason possibly. Surely he should be chucked out of office if it is true.

claig · 22/04/2016 20:11

Farage on Any Questions just now. He siad that Obama said in his speech

"Britain will be at the back of the queue"

and he said that Americans don't say queue, they say line. I am not sure that is true, can any Americans confirm that. Farage was implying that Obama was saying something he was told to say. Is this the legendary Oxbridge teams yet again?

OP posts:
PigletJohn · 22/04/2016 20:53

You mean like your Oxbridge Elite hero, Boris of the Bullingdon?

claig · 22/04/2016 20:55

Piglet, he is not my hero, he outrageously had an unwarranted go at the leading US Republican candidate. That was a serious black mark against him, but I have given him another chance because he has cracked some good jokes about the Remain team.

claig · 22/04/2016 20:58

Anyone who has the courage to point out facts like these deserves another chance

'It's bs': Boris Johnson hits out at David Cameron over impact of Brexit on trade and jobs

Boris Johnson said the Prime Minister was told to 'bog off' by EU leaders, when he asked them to prevent migrants without jobs from coming to the UK "

It's more than generous of you to overlook his repeated lies and deceit. Are you forgiving of all crooks and liars?

claig · 22/04/2016 21:04

I am not forgiving of the Blairites, no. I have standards and I do draw the line.

OP posts:
PigletJohn · 22/04/2016 21:08

So is Boris the only crook and liar you admire, or are there others?

Pangurban1 · 22/04/2016 21:11

Treason against his UK or US citizenship? I don't think they still hang US citizens for treason, so he is ok there. Mind you a US citizen in the pay of Putin would be something they may not like.

I wonder does Nigel think his German and French ancestry come out in his views too? Since they are all into ancestry all of a sudden and the complexion it gives to a person's attitudes.

Maybe it is a plot by these descendants of various French/German/Turkish ancestry and they are really determined to lead the UK into isolation. Divided they fall and all that.

I can't believe people are not shocked at the nakedness of their comments.

claig · 22/04/2016 21:11

What has he done that is crooked? And the "lies" you refer to were jokes as far as I can see

PigletJohn do you think all the politicians in Brussels and all those in the "Remain" campaign are faultless?

Lookingagain · 22/04/2016 21:11

Americans do say "line" not "queue." But I don't think it indicates anything other than the fact that Obama is either a) sophisticated enough to know, or b) has someone helping him with his speech who is.

claig · 22/04/2016 21:15

'I can't believe people are not shocked at the nakedness of their comments.'

I think their statements were in poor taste and were "bad manners" as Paddy Pantsdown said on TV last night. I am not a fan of Pantsdown, but he was right over that. These type of statements aren't new which is probably why they do not come as a shock; they were brought up years ago over the return of a Churchill bust, but it appears that that story was not accurate as it was returned before he took over or something.

I think Boris and Farage should not have said that.

OP posts:
claig · 22/04/2016 21:16

Thanks, Lookingagain. That makes sense.

OP posts:
claig · 22/04/2016 21:20

Also, I don't see returning a Churchill bust as being anti English or anti British. He can return whatever he likes.

OP posts:
PigletJohn · 22/04/2016 21:25

A4Document

Are you suggesting that we should overlook and forgive politicians, during a campaign, while they spew out repeated lies and deceit? I don't agree.

claig · 22/04/2016 21:26

'Are you suggesting that we should overlook and forgive politicians, during a campaign, while they spew out repeated lies and deceit? I don't agree.'

Then how can you back some of the Remain team?

OP posts:
PigletJohn · 22/04/2016 21:29

Have you become A4?

If not, show me where I have chortled forgivingly at lies. Like you do.
