You’re not behind foxes remember we are never behind 😉

SC I don’t like people being here either, I’m hoping it’ll be different when we move!

Well we are home, cleaners did a good job, and told us of the things that were difficult for example cleaning the outside of the cupboards as the paint the previous tenant used was washing off 🤦‍♀️ Man Alive am I glad we can redecorate! Anyway, grime and dust is gone, oven is lovely and clean! Super excited to get the carpets done tomorrow and then we can actually start moving stuff over!

Does anyone have a recommendation for products to use to shine a sink please?

Cagliostro · 27/06/2018 15:48

Right, I need to move the laundry along and stick a new wash on, scan the shopping/transmit the barcodes, and change the baby before a feed. Will have to enlist the help of DS for the first two

Stilllivinginazoo · 27/06/2018 16:03

I just spray mine with orange scented mr muscle kitchen spray.leave 5mins and wipe cag

Scoopofchaff · 27/06/2018 16:59

Cag

and

I use industrial vinegar but my cleaning lady uses Viakal with very good results. Depends on hardness of water I think!

Good luck!

I never used to be this bad with hating having people in the house - I am reasonably sociable in rl Grin - I just don't seem to have a tolerance for people I don't know well ie tradesmen, with an emphasis on the men bit! Especially when it involves constant running up and down stairs in 28°c heat!

Hope evening not too stressful with dd2 Zoo!

Glad you got away for a bit Foxes sorry not more restful though!

Flaps to everyone else!

Cagliostro · 27/06/2018 17:04

Ooh thanks. I definitely want to move towards eco/homemade stuff long term but while we are getting this place sorted and creating a nice blank canvas at the new house, I am happy with chemicals 😂

Cagliostro · 27/06/2018 17:08

Another question... what’s the gadget called that would cut the grass to a mowable level? (HA were supposed to do it apparently, but...) it’s currently knee high. I want to ask friends if they have one I can borrow but I can’t ask if I don’t know the name😂

Cagliostro · 27/06/2018 17:08

Strimmer or something?

foxessocks · 27/06/2018 17:11

It was restful in a way sc as it was a break from routine!

Ta da
Unpacked
Dh is ironing
Ordered dd friend present hope it arrives in time
Another wash on

To do
Finish daily routine
Declutter living room fifteen minutes
Detailed dust living room
Check voucher expiry

Stilllivinginazoo · 27/06/2018 17:18

Strimmer is correct cag

HillsBesideTheSea · 27/06/2018 18:11

Accidental power cut?
ds is exercising his implusive obsessive streak. It is exhausting. My temper is frayed.

GoingGoingGoth · 27/06/2018 21:21

Grin at the cat having warning lights - would be useful.

The ESP (I think that's right - something to do with steering which you can switch off but I never do) which has now stopped and the emissions something or other - so need to get it booked in

Currently clearing out cupboards for the builders tomorrow - so much stuff. Would help if I weren't so damn hot.

It Will Be Worth It

Also got 2 loads laundry done - ironing can wait.

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 27/06/2018 21:40

Hello all, have had a read through and was going to post some personals but there are so many posts on here I can’t manage it Smile! Big cooling wing flaps to all. I’m another one who absolutely hates the heat. Have been at work and that is about it today. Have managed to fill in one form for DD1 Brownie activity so that is something. Such a busy time for the next month or so with the end of term and other activities!

Cagliostro · 27/06/2018 21:52

[Backs slowly away from Cag so as not to get between her and quality street]

Evening all!

I feel about 93 yrs old this evening (in fact I am sure there are 93 yr olds that feel sprightlier than I do right now). Too cream crackered to even write ta da list!

But sending somewhat weary wing flaps to everyone. Hope the heat doesn't prevent everyone from getting a bit of decent shut eye tonight!

Baby step no. 28 for Thurs 28th June is here. A good one about taking care of ourselves, taking breaks, drinking water, eating well and getting enough sleep (some of you with young 'uns may be shooting daggers at that last one!

We are in Zone 5 all this week: The Living Room, Den, Family Room (June 24-30). Spend 15 mins a day decluttering this area (and/or do a mission!).

If you are at the stage where you have finished decluttering Zone 5, here is the [[http://www.flylady.net/d/zones/detailed-cleaning-zone-5/
detailed cleaning list]] for the sitting room etc.

Thursday's mission is: here. Vacuum floors thoroughly including corners and skirting boards.

Thursday's daily focus is: running errands.

The monthly habit for June is keeping hydrated by drinking lots of water. Very important in this current sweltering weather!

A summary of the above (which should update itself daily) can be found in the flight plan [[http://www.flylady.net/c/fp.php?tzm=-120
here]].

Whew! Took me nearly 40 mins t o catch up on new thread!

Sorry to hear of poorly people.

Blazer rule absolutely ridiculous. I used to wear a uniform like in Summer Bay in summer.😄 I would question sensibility to Parent Governor
I'm off on school trip today. 1 1/2 hours on the bus! My lovelies though.
Not much getting done here as I am either out at work or in the garden .
Still haven't been told what I am doing next year.

Hope people feel better soon. I was at GP as regular appointment. After school had fast pulse again and still had it by the time I saw him( yeah ) so asked him to take it and yes, fast. At least it is evidence.dont know why as I wasn't stressed at all I had just taught my lovely class and we had a brilliant afternoon.had it a bit yesterday evening at singing.
Window cleaner there a long time. You must have a big house or...
My does them in 7 minutes. Not always very well and he hasn't been here for over a month.
Right must get up and pack lunch as need to leave early. Bus leaving 1/2 hr before school. Bet a few don't turn up in time. We have a lot of stragglers from these classes. Old enough to get self up, out and at school but several trail in about 9:15am we've told them we are not waiting! Gin waiting in fridge for return😁 it will be a long day.
Ta da
Washing and ironing done.
Kitchen floor swept.
Garden looking better.

zoo we have type of windows you can put your arm out (or at least half our house does!) and my dh has a ladder and works at heights regularly so no issues there - doesn't mean we ever clean our windows though! Hmm

I'm working today so flying will have to fit in around that.

Ds up at 2am but didn't take too long to go back to sleep. Still feeling a bit tired this morning though. Need coffee.

Stilllivinginazoo · 28/06/2018 07:58

Cagliostro · 28/06/2018 09:03

Morning! Cagletini slept 10-4 solid so I feel not quite as zombie like. Got a decent sleep snuggled up after that too.

Very glad of it as today is absolutely batshit crazy. Others have gone off to trampolining, we are going for ice cream to celebrate their friend's birthday, we have to let the carpet cleaner in and then meet him again when finished, then we have a special event at badgers so I need to return half a hour after dropping them off, then DD1 stays on for cadets so I’m hanging around with DS and picking up dinner.

Need to get cash out for cleaner and birthday boy, get cakes for the event...

Living room is an absolute tip and relatives are coming tomorrow 😖
