QMUL offer came through today !! I am crying with joy sharing this news after weeks of anxiety and sleepless nights

So pleased for you and your dc @kk10. The offers are worth the wait!! Our dc may end up together on the same course!

DD got an offer from Exeter today. 🙂

DD is the only would-be medic at her school to have received an offer so far, despite some other strong candidates, so I'm aware that there must be a lot of people still waiting for that elusive first offer. I hope that they are encouraged by the offers coming through and not disheartened by the wait. It is so difficult when others start to get the offers through...

DS got an Exeter offer. Now he is in a quandary.

Where is he trying to choose between?

Sheffield and Exeter (Birmingham not replied yet)
He likes different things about both.

I went to Sheffield uni (not medicine) and loved it. But trying to remain impartial...

DD got Imperial offer. Both her and us parents are very pleased.
No update from the other 3. Very relaxed now as we have one offer.
I guess still there is time to start looking at the accomodation booking etc.

Newcastle has started: apparently everyone will hear, one way or the other (or waitlist), today!

DD just got an offer from Newcastle, contingent on 3 A grades. She’s sooo excited….think she was going to implode if she didn’t get some kind of news this week 🥳

Its brilliant that so many offers are coming through - congratulations to all the patient DC (and parents!). Fingers crossed for more in the coming days!

Newcastle rejection here, but that was expected as DS did not feel the interview went well and he is not bothered as he prefers UEA anyway. Only Leicester to hear from now, that is a bit more significant to him as he would probably choose Leicester if offered.
