As others have said, welcome light relief at the end of a busy day. So many witty Mumsnetters!
I suspect, alas, that this is all being done for some troll and/or will end up in the Daily Fail or similar.
However, since the subject is under discussion, I thought that I might as well reveal that in recent weeks I have indeed been skinning sausages. To make 'sausage balls' for parties. You need a sharp knife and wet hands. Even so, they are extremely popular with men.
I am a wife and I am old. Am also vegetarian. So have never tasted them. But this is what I do. Take sausages (skins removed) or sausage meat (not sold locally, hence the skinning), mix generously with either chopped garlic or herbes de provence - not both together - then form into walnut-sized balls. Cook on something non-stick (essential) at high temp (c 200 C) for approx 10-15 mins. Turn if necessary, but I am told that the rather sticky caramelised base is one of the best bits.
I don't think, however, that the OP was after cookery hints and tips.
