New wife. How to skin a sausage?

Polish Sausage or Chorizo or similar: How do I skin them without destroying the shape of it?

I skinned my first sausage last week, after being married for 20 years. It was messy and DH looked surprised that I was making so much effort.

is it ribbed ?

Tbf I've never been married and never skinned a chorizo sausage so 🤷‍♀️
I have skinned a pork sausage tho, do you need a marriage licence for that? Am I in trouble?

DH does all the cooking in our house. He is married but is obviously not a wife. Does he need to call me in for sausage skinning duties? To think I’ve been leaving him to it all this time not knowing it’s solely a new wife’s job…

Yes but good quality sausages come nicely spiced, skinless are usually a bit bland.

Please don't insult my country by skinning Polish sausages. If you want sausage meat, just buy it separately...

No idea, I've never cooked.

Sometimes you must skin sausages. Eg, proper Italian salami has a thin paper skin on it. Much better removed. Or else than thin white stuff goes everywhere.

For Spanish sausage (chorizo or the like) the answer is warmth, good red wine and a little light flirtation. Polish sausage however responds best to a more robust approach, good legs and maybe some beer.

We eat chorizo with skin on 😄

I wouldn't remove the skin. They prefer it that way.
