i had no idea you were meant to skin them. i leave the skin on and take the whole into my mouth

I've never skinned a sausage (old wife).

But at a guess I'd do it the same way as I skin plums - pop them in boiling water for a few seconds and watch the skin shrivel.

I always close my eyes and think of Brad Pitt England.
