New wife. How to skin a sausage?

Polish Sausage or Chorizo or similar: How do I skin them without destroying the shape of it?

OP posts:
Dustyblue · 24/11/2023 14:35

Yes, you don't want any mince-work in the downstairs area. It's all messy enough as-is.

Now I want a good sausage roll...

Babyghirl · 24/11/2023 14:36

@plumtreebroke
Why don't you just buy sausage meat 🤔.

daisychain01 · 24/11/2023 14:36

1950s, welcome back

Reallybadidea · 24/11/2023 14:37

Good god, did your mother not teach you how to do this?! 😭

CheshireCat1 · 24/11/2023 14:40

Life is too short for skinning sausages and peeling grapes.

therealcookiemonster · 24/11/2023 14:40

much better to bury the sausage under a new patio. more effective and also you get a new patio. alternately for 100% peace of mind, bury sausage under a bed of endangered/rare plants that are illegal to uproot. happy days

Questions often posed in the early days of her marriage by our own dear late Queen.

Refrigerate until hard. Warm it gently in your hand, take a scalpel and insert at the very tip, slowly unzip the skin in one piece if you can. 😜

I read that with Nigella’s voice in my head

Circumferences · 24/11/2023 14:43

Don't you just eat the skin? Or is that just me?

Gnomegnomegnome · 24/11/2023 14:43

@Sunshineandflipflops careful!

Dontcallmescarface · 24/11/2023 14:44

The best way I found is to give him the knife and tell him to do it himself.

Ok now I'm dying 😆

That was a fast marriage, OP! Ten days ago you wrote that you’re divorced and wanting to flirt with a woman at the gym.

🤔

DontBeSoPrude · 24/11/2023 14:46

Emanresu9 · 24/11/2023 13:27

There is a dedicated sex board, you can ask there.

I cannot tell you how much this made me laugh! Thank you!! 🍆

Pasithean · 24/11/2023 14:46

Tell him you’re vegan.

JanglingJack · 24/11/2023 14:46

I think the most important thing is to relax and rip it off like a plaster. He'll thank you for it later.

SixPastTheHour · 24/11/2023 14:48

Have you tried asking his old wife how she peeled his sausage? Mind you, she may not have done it very well, hence being old wife.

PianPianPiano · 24/11/2023 14:48

Given the OPs previous posts, maybe its a typo and should read 'new life'... or 'new knife'. Or maybe 'new wifi'... Or maybe she HAS a new wife (woman from the gym) and needs to impress her with skinned polish sausage...

Newhere5 · 24/11/2023 14:48

You don’t skin polish sausages
( take it as info from reliable source, I’m Polish)

ThreeTescoBags · 24/11/2023 14:49

Waitingfordoggo · 24/11/2023 13:58

Chorizo is a firm sausage, skinning it will not change the shape of the meat. Some skins come off easier than others, but as PPs said- run a knife down it and you’ll be able to peel the skin off.

I wonder if your DH is on a forum somewhere saying ‘New husband. How do I put up shelves?’

Edited

New husband - how do I stuff a taco?

SixPastTheHour · 24/11/2023 14:50

EmpressaurusOfCats · 24/11/2023 14:26

I’ve just searched too & I’m now a bit confused. The OP says elsewhere that she’s getting divorced & is interested in a woman at her gym. Skinning her ex’s sausage would be a hell of a parting gesture.

Those is making me cackle in the dentist's waiting room

🤣🤣

Dustyblue · 24/11/2023 14:57

Stuffing the taco 😂😅😆

Best ever food/recipes thread.

Westfacing · 24/11/2023 14:58

With a very sharp pointy knife - right down the length

Don't go too deep now Wink

Bouffe · 24/11/2023 15:00

You need to ask your new husband how he wants his sausages skinned. (Presuming you're straight, though I can't imagine a lesbian or gay man asking such a question)
