Welcome one and all!

Because of a depressing thread I started a couple of days ago I have felt enough courage from the kind words you have given me to start a positive thread about how I will go from grumpy, teary, depressed, hopeless me to a more positive me.

I have pinpointed having a shower every day as a good start to feeling better, hence the name.

Hope lots join me and share what they want to change in their life to feel better. big or small, whatever you feel you want to work towards.
We can help each other

hi just sat down again after faffing about piling up clothes what a coincidence

it's clothes
masses and masses of childrens clothes that they don't want to throw -- but never wear, i've probably got two black bags full

so they get messed up in cupboards and thrown on the floor
but NEVER WORN. i'm sneaking them out today but have to keep them somewhere for a few months in case they get asked for -- or maybe i should be more ruthless?

Also toys. . mine have reached an age where they don't play with them any more except very rarely and when other younger children come over.. got to go child hoving into view

stuffitall · 10/02/2008 10:52

actually at this point I am thinking "scorched earth".

Pile it all in the garden and set fire to it along with the wedding presents still in boxes and the chests of old school books and all the stupid tiny things they get in party bags and won't throw away ..

you get the picture
we need an mnet star chart for de-clutterer of the week

i managed to shower daqilym dont style my hair, just chuck on any old (clean) clothes.

but i do have a problem with clutter. if i love something even if i dont use it, i will hang onto it.

but i have just made a step forward and sold one of my dd's buggies. it is a rathetr fab buggy but i dont use it, so have sold it. i feel a bit overwhelmed, but its been paid for so am now cleaning it and packaging it up for collection tomorrow.

i also need to clear the kdis toys out. they have far too many and dont play with even half of them. i want to get a chest of drawers cleared from dd1 room and back in our room, mainly so i can move her toys back into her room, and get her desk set up.

i must stop lazing about on here though.
