Welcome one and all!

Because of a depressing thread I started a couple of days ago I have felt enough courage from the kind words you have given me to start a positive thread about how I will go from grumpy, teary, depressed, hopeless me to a more positive me.

I have pinpointed having a shower every day as a good start to feeling better, hence the name.

Hope lots join me and share what they want to change in their life to feel better. big or small, whatever you feel you want to work towards.
We can help each other

I think nausea can be one of the side effects. You're probably just getting used to the meds.

ZoMbIeTaLcYo · 26/07/2007 20:09

...have been on and off for years......depression, mood swings etc...normally down to hormones.

Admittedly....they helped me get through some shite times.

Managed to come off them few years ago.

Recently been suffering horrendous pms...someone on here suggested every 3 days dosage.....seems to working,

Gonna do the shower thing

ZoMbIeTaLcYo · 26/07/2007 20:12

...jeeez, i sound miserable

mummyhill · 26/07/2007 20:18

Trinityrhino · 27/07/2007 09:20

may as well be honest with you lot

I reckon the likelihood of me managing a shower today are slim to nonexistant

I feel awful from lack of sleep and getting up at 5.30

I have had brekkie though and taken meds

we hsall see how the day goes

OP posts:
cerys · 27/07/2007 09:32

Good morning!

Breakfast and meds is a great start. Have you washed your face, to wake yourself up a bit? Maybe there will be a chance to shower later.

Sorry to hear you had another bad night. Mine wasn't great and I am full of a cold, and have already shouted at the DCs

Take care of yourself today

Trinityrhino · 27/07/2007 10:26

morning cerys
sorry to hear you have a stinking cold

ll of us are dressed now

me minus knickers and dd2 in odd socks but for us thats an improvement

OP posts:
cerys · 27/07/2007 10:28

LOL at you with no knickers, Trinity. We are about to go out for a while and I have even made a picnic. It is raining, but we are going anyway, as the kids are bouncing off the walls with pent-up energy.

will check later to see if you are OK

xx

Nbg · 27/07/2007 11:21

Am just about to go and clean the bathroom Trinity if you want to join me?

Trinityrhino · 27/07/2007 13:16

nbg I would but......hmmm no excuse except its absolutely filthy and being redone (new suite) next week so I'll save that effort for when the new stuff is in

cerys - at least I'm not wearing a skirt on this very windy day

well dd2 is now napping on the couch but gecko is wide eyed and bushy tailed....never mind.
I'm going to try and sort the frontroom whilst the little monster snoozes

OP posts:
cerys · 27/07/2007 19:55

How did the day go, Trinity?

We had a nice day out and I had my family to help me with the kids, which made a huge difference to my mood! I must have worn the children out as they are all fast asleep now. I expect my dad is too

try to get an early night, babies permitting.

Trinityrhino · 27/07/2007 19:58

day went well

frontroom got tidied and then dh cooked chilli con carne
