Welcome one and all!

Because of a depressing thread I started a couple of days ago I have felt enough courage from the kind words you have given me to start a positive thread about how I will go from grumpy, teary, depressed, hopeless me to a more positive me.

I have pinpointed having a shower every day as a good start to feeling better, hence the name.

Hope lots join me and share what they want to change in their life to feel better. big or small, whatever you feel you want to work towards.
We can help each other

well i have ate much cake and butter sandwiches today, but am inspired by your shower success - tomorrow is another day!

Trinityrhino · 26/07/2007 08:52

hmm
I have had a uckking awful night
gecko just didn't setlle at all until abour 4am, she just kept eventually falling aslepp and then waking 5 or 10 mins later. I was really struggling
meanwhile dd2 was up and down all night til about 5

and theworst of it....when I went to see to dd2 at about 1am gecko was awake and I though she was safely in the middle of our bed but no
huge thunk and hideous screaming, I didn't sleep at all until I passed out just after 5am after dd2 had settled properly. I was sure that I had caused her awful internal injuries. I feel so bad, dh came ion to find me crying and cuddling a screaming baby.
please tell me I'm not the only one to let this happen
I feel like shit thsi moring but the girls are both fine

no shower yet, need to leave NOW for dd2s nursery
have dirty clothes on and haven't had brekkie either

Well done you are doing superb!

I have my volunteer coming today, she watches the kids for an hour while i tidy up my bomb site of a house. I think i am going to aim to sort my larder out it is in a mess!

I have so far.

Fed both boys
Got ds2 to sleep in his cot
Had my breakfast and coffee
Brushed hair and teeth and got dressed

Now for ds1's many many meds and my tablet.............

Nbg · 26/07/2007 10:15

Well done trinity.
Sounds like you've done really well.

Kif · 26/07/2007 10:49

Ach - it happens to everyone. I remember the holiday dh let Dd 'dive' over the footboard of the bed (about 4 ft). He locked himself in a room for the next three days with the TV to settle his nerves .

Kif · 26/07/2007 10:58

I've spent all nightholding onto Dss foot for just that reason.

I'm very proud that he's crawling - but there is a time and a place.... and it's not shuffling down the bed at 3a.m.... and it's not when i've just unfastned a poo-ey nappy... and it's most definitely NOT while he's clamped himself to my nipple.

Trinityrhino · 26/07/2007 11:05

thanks guys for making me feel better

right ready for it

Dun du du daaaaaah

I have had my shower for today

WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOand then I brushed my teeth
I am now sat in a dressing gown and towel on head but still, it's a start

gecko is snoozing so I'm going to take 10 mins to relax (not sure if she will sleep much longer at all)

OP posts:
Trinityrhino · 26/07/2007 11:27

and now I'm expressing milk for dh to give to gecko later

OP posts:
Trinityrhino · 26/07/2007 12:04

luckylady74 · 26/07/2007 13:14

well done - you are doing so well!my poor twinds2 bf from my right boob and ,as i sleep on the right side of the bed, used to often slip to the floor as i'd fall asleep mid feed. to be fair all of mine have fell down the stairs too - the worse wasw when ds1 waved at me and then fell down! hope you're feeling better in your world of cleanliness!

Trinityrhino · 26/07/2007 19:29

exhausted now, just got them both to sleep

really should tidy but feeling a bit sick and having panic attacks that its a bug rather than just the fact that I took my first AD this morning and thern let myself get hungry tonight

I felt sick at 6pm then felt a bit better, fancied some chilli but didn't make any then feel a bit ill again and then felt hungry and had some crisps just now

doesn't sound like a bug does it?
go easy on me,serious emetophobe here

yoou ate okay

like the shower thing....am inspired

ZoMbIeTaLcYo · 26/07/2007 20:01

also taking AD's at moment...but one every 3 days...

ZoMbIeTaLcYo · 26/07/2007 20:01

are not ate!

cerys · 26/07/2007 20:02

you are probably exhausted, poor thing, after your horrible night. Could you eat some toast and see if that settles your stomach? I don't know about ADs, but I am sure they must make you feel different when you start taking them.

Look at what you have achieved today - DD2 to nursery, shower and hair and plait, ate breakfast, looked after your other DDs... That is fantastic!

Tidy if you have the energy - even a FlyLady 15 minute burst - but if not just focus on eating something, drink some juice or water and then go to bed!

I have been thinking about you this week, so keep posting!
