Welcome one and all!

Because of a depressing thread I started a couple of days ago I have felt enough courage from the kind words you have given me to start a positive thread about how I will go from grumpy, teary, depressed, hopeless me to a more positive me.

I have pinpointed having a shower every day as a good start to feeling better, hence the name.

Hope lots join me and share what they want to change in their life to feel better. big or small, whatever you feel you want to work towards.
We can help each other

Well i would like to bring up my self confidence to beable to enjoy a healthy sex life with my partner.

I wouls also like to get more active and do more activities with my children.

Trinityrhino · 25/07/2007 08:36

morning all
dd2 is having breakfast and they both have fresh bums

last night I asked dh when he was getting up for work and when he said 9ish. i asked if he would get his coffee and fag and then have the kids whilst I had a shower

he was fine with that and now we are just waiting to see if he actually gets up when his alarm goes off

dd2 was up and from about 4 for no reason that I can fathom so the shower really will make me feel tons better today

we need to leave the house at 10 tyo get to my doc app followed by imms for gecko

I am pretty sorted in alot of other things but that is the biggie thats causing problems in my relationship at the moment, i have next to no sex drive and i think that is why. I need to find my inner power to say.

'dp i would really like you to do xyz.'

rather than just go through the motions of usual not that our intimate life is bad it is good but i feel like i need to discover it a bit more iyswim???

Sorry that was probably tmi!

CharleeWeasley · 25/07/2007 08:42

I also wanted to say how much i admire you for taking this step to improve youe life you must be a really strong woman. I have no idea where to start except i fiannly admitted to myself after god knows how many years of being diagnosed with manic depression that i can't live a normal life without my anti depressants so i went and got some.

Trinityrhino · 25/07/2007 08:53

thankyou Charlee

not TMI at all
that is exactly how I have been feeling and its always worse to the point of ZERO sex after each baby for quite a while...

NorbertStanleyFletcher · 25/07/2007 09:13

OK -I am waiting to see how the shower went, and how much better you feel

CharleeWeasley · 25/07/2007 09:14

Good luck with your shower TR.

NorbertStanleyFletcher · 25/07/2007 13:09

well?

How was the shower and are you back from the docs yet?

Trinityrhino · 25/07/2007 13:55

dh didn't get up unitl 9.30 and I couldn't wait till then cause we had to leave at 10am

BUT instead of leeting that get in my way I took both of them into the bthroom
gecko sat in her little bouncy chair thing and laughed at her hands and dd2 unraveled 2 entire toilet rolls quietly and happily

I had a fab shower, left her to it and then stacked the unravveled stuff on the windowledge for use later lol

no probs
been to the docs, got the prescrition I was after, very happy with that
gecko had her jags which was horrid and made me cry but its done now and we have calpol if its needed later

all going well here but I feel exhausted right this minute

Whoa! Just found this thread - all sounds a bit ambitious to me.

Can I sit quietly and mal-odourously in the corner?

stleger · 25/07/2007 17:27

Tomorrow - get the unravelled ones divided into sheets while you have your shower!

Trinityrhino · 25/07/2007 17:45

lol, good idea
