Welcome one and all!

Because of a depressing thread I started a couple of days ago I have felt enough courage from the kind words you have given me to start a positive thread about how I will go from grumpy, teary, depressed, hopeless me to a more positive me.

I have pinpointed having a shower every day as a good start to feeling better, hence the name.

Hope lots join me and share what they want to change in their life to feel better. big or small, whatever you feel you want to work towards.
We can help each other

done some ironing
put on washer, dryer and dishwasher
hung some washing out

dh is mowing lawn

which means that dd2 is runing into garden and then back inside with hands over her ears shouting "Daddy noisy, Daddy noisy"

I wasn't going to have a shower this morning as I'm feeling miserable and dp is being a nob but you've inspired me to get off my ass....as soon as i've had a cup of tea

Trinityrhino · 29/07/2007 11:37

good to hear I'm helping someone

you might feel better afterwards

hi trinity and everyone else too

We were out all day yesterday - went to visit my brother and went to a free festival near his house. Have been out quite a lot today too, making the most of the lack of rain!

TR, did you have a shower today? What about you, BillWeasleyBeast? I am planning a soak in the bath, once all the DCs are asleep. I could hear DS wandering around upstairs just now...

BillWeasleyBeast · 29/07/2007 21:24

I did. And it made me get off my lardy slothfull ass and do lots of useful stuff. Ahh the power of Radox!

Trinityrhino · 29/07/2007 21:33

I'm asamed to say that I didn't but I did do other bits and bobs

including the weekly shop, ironing, hanging washing out, making a decent tea, not shouting or crying, took meds, had breakfast...

so not bad for me at all

BWB, that's great!

TR, don't be ashamed. I am well impressed at everything else you achieved, especially the not shouting bit. I am trying very hard not to shout so much at my DCs, but it's a struggle sometimes.

Still not had my bath as DD1 called DH, to tell him DD2 was calling him, to say that DS was out of his bed (he is a bit naughty at bedtimes!) I don't want to go up until all 3 are asleep.

Trinityrhino · 31/07/2007 22:17

no shower today

not doing well

will keep posting in the hope that things get better

Sorry I didn't get to see you at the weekend.

NormaStanleyFletcher · 01/08/2007 09:05

Will be coming up later in August for longer than a weekend though, if you fancy a visitor, or a visit to the valley?

cerys · 01/08/2007 11:05

Sorry to hear you had such a disturbed night, TR. I really struggle when I have had disturbed sleep.

Could DD1 and DD2 watch TV while you have a quick shower, even if you don't do your hair. DD3 could be in a bouncy chair in the bathroom again? I am sure you would feel brighter if you could.

will check back later xx

Trinityrhino · 01/08/2007 19:19

morning all!

Hope we are all fresh and fragrant today?

It has started raining, so that has thrown my plans of what to do today out of the window. We are off on holiday tomorrow, so I need to do some packing at some point. And clean a bit.
My DDs are watching the Sound of Music DVD and DS is destroying the house, so everything's about normal here!

Trinityrhino · 03/08/2007 08:11
