Please help, I'm a total mess after counselling

My second counselling session was this morning and it has totally floored me. I am shaking like mad, can't think straight and have spent the last hour vomiting.
I hate talking about what happened, actually that's a lie, I CAN'T talk about it. I hate dragging it all to the front of my mind and ending up like this. Does it get any easier? I don't think I can do this anymore. I want to curl up in a ball and never wake up.

Do she have a teddy you can hold, I find cuddling a teddy very helpful. Are you under a psychiatrist?

My memories came back in a floodgate so I know how horrendous it is. Can you make plans for you and her tomorrow?

I have to work til 7ish but will be up around 2am. Simple things like a lavendar bath, cup of cocoa, gentle music before bed can help to relax you a bit.

Naturalnature, I don't have a psychiatrist, just counsellor. I am hoping to take her to feed the ducks, depends on the weather of course, and me.

It's ok to freeze and hang up, you can call back. You can just cry or say nothing or rant and rave. That's the great thing about it. I sometimes cried, or hung up, or just talked and talked about whatever was in my head. If it hadn't been for them I definitely would have hurt myself.

Do keep posting on here too, if it helps.

That's true, mn and Cailin have helped me through a lot. Sometimes it's good to talk aswell, even if it's just about the weather or your DD. Take every life raft available, phone samaritans and just ask them to talk to you i have done that

Feeling very scared now. Flashbacks started, can't breath properly. Been sick but managing to drink a little water. God I hate this

Hi Cuppa, do you have a blanket to wrap yourself in when you have a flashback. This helps you to feel a bit safer tried and tested also a teddy to cuddle.

I wrap myself up and cuddle my teddy until it's passed then have a sugary tea and some quiet music.

How are you doing now? remember it will pass.

Telling yourself over and over that you are safe now can help too.

Do you think Natural's suggestion of a blanket and a teddy might be of some comfort?

It's ok to cry, scream, swear, shout, call the bastards all the names under the sun.

The coffee might increase anxiety/keep you awake. Can you have coco?

I feel a little calmer now. Going to take my tablet and try with all the strength I have left to get some rest.
I do believe I am officially at rock bottom now, trying to distract myself by counting down the hours until dd comes home.

Nightmare after nightmare but at least it knocked me out long enough to stay away from the medicine cupboard.
