Trying to keep it together for now. Major problems with massively entitled, passive aggressive oh, which keep coming up. Been going on and off for 20 yrs (the problems).

Have bi-polar, which is generally under control, but know I have to be careful, particularly during stress, when I can't sleep.

Am back in that cycle where I wake up at 4 in the morning, almost bang on, as if by alarm clock. Any thoughts? Any poor sod up like me?

So that's our future is it?
Comfy recliner chairs and no need for any instructions about 'afters'!

ChildofIsis · 23/03/2012 19:41

Tea's ready, got to go!

ChildofIsis · 23/03/2012 19:42

Sorry should say 'Supper/Dinner' shouldn't I seeing as how this is MN!

ParsleyTheLioness · 23/03/2012 19:49

No, tea, we're from the North

ThePinkPussycat · 23/03/2012 20:05

Oooh you are in skittish mood!

Tis tea here, as I am a lower middle class Sarf Londoner, and tea here in the NE but up here it's usually eaten around 5 which is a bit early I think!

ParsleyTheLioness · 23/03/2012 20:12

Yes, too early. About 6 in our house.

ChildofIsis · 25/03/2012 08:46

Well I had another great night with my old friend.
Went to a newly refurbed pub, had a lovely meal and fab conversation.
Shame I couldn't have a long lie-in this morning, DD's coming home in a few minutes;I'll make up for it during the week.

DD's got her school play tues and wed evening, she'd going to her dad's afterwards on wed. I'm glad I won't be dealing with her on thurs am.
Last year she was like a demon on speed after 2 late nights!
She's so tired and ready for her hols.

ParsleyTheLioness · 25/03/2012 10:06

We've got another week of school. Glad you had a good night.

ChildofIsis · 01/04/2012 09:00

Well so much for the MN april fool, I must've got really cynical since last year as my first thought on reading was that it's 1st april.

I always used to fall for april fool's jokes.

Watch me fall for all the others today! ha ha

ThePinkPussycat · 01/04/2012 09:39

Oh didn't click it was an April fool...but I didn't click the link either so must have noticed subconsciously. I always used to fall for them as well...

ParsleyTheLioness · 01/04/2012 09:40

Think I was about half way down the link before I realised...

ChildofIsis · 01/04/2012 15:17

I think it's time to ask for a 'cynic' emoticon from MNHQ.

ParsleyTheLioness · 01/04/2012 15:25

yy

ThePinkPussycat · 02/04/2012 10:51

Well we've got a skeptical one Hmm

ThePinkPussycat · 02/04/2012 12:17

Nah, we'll just have to make do Wink

And I say this as one who once started a thread asking for Brew to be the other way round, or at least a choice.

ParsleyTheLioness · 02/04/2012 12:19

Why,for the love of Pete?

ThePinkPussycat · 02/04/2012 13:23

Cos in my mind I want to be able to reach out and pick up the Brew. Also I was in a very silly mood Grin

ParsleyTheLioness · 02/04/2012 16:13

Oh, bloomin 'ec, now I see what you mean, you've got me going now!

ThePinkPussycat · 02/04/2012 16:50

The thread got quite interesting, often what you see as the drinker is a bit different from what you see looking at someone drinking iyswim.

ParsleyTheLioness · 02/04/2012 19:39

Bit philosophical then, a metaphor for different views on life.

ChildofIsis · 07/04/2012 17:17

I've just found out that my brother has left his wife.

No third party involved.
My sis in law and nieces are devastated.
Sis in law hadn't seen any signs that he was unhappy.
Brother has told step dad that although it's all a real mess he's happier to be away from the house; he's in a hotel for now.

I'm so sad about it, I thought they had a great partnership.
I'm starting to wonder if men are just not cut out for 'til death us do part'.

I was having a sad, reflective sort of day then this.

I'm glad DD and I are going to birth mum's on monday for the week.
It's all getting too much and I'm looking forward to a break from the norm.

ThePinkPussycat · 07/04/2012 17:47

Yes you need a break, twill do you the world of good.

I suppose the situation re your brother must be harder since you know that it is hard to tell how a marriage is from the outside Sad

In my case, it's me who is not cut out for 'til death' - I am so so longing to be living on my own again. With Dcat, of course.

ChildofIsis · 07/04/2012 20:10

Do you know living without stbx is great. Life is so much easier.
I hope you get your 'freedom' soon.

600th post OOOOH!

ParsleyTheLioness · 08/04/2012 08:45

Amen to that. We can watch Top Gear without a strop, eat pizza NOT at the table. Have tea when it suits. Not have to wait for Lord & Master to come in, have a bath, then lie on the bed to make sure he'd had his full half hour, then join us for a meal at the table. Not have to go and follow his hobbies, whilst he was showing no interest in ours..... I could go on, and on!
