Hello! I was queen cam on the old group. Name changed a while ago. Just not that into Camilla 😅

17 hour fast today. Leon Brazilian bean and rice box for lunch with extra chicken.
snack - several easy peeler satsumas. And a few fruit pastilles for that sugar hit…
had a haricot bean pot with half an avocado and a fried egg for dinner. And did a yoga class so am feeling zen 😇

Glad you’re all traipsing over. 18 hr fast today.
lunch : can of tuna with salad , corn and olives, with a little mayo, an apple.
dinner: just making chicken arrabiata.
I’m so in to this fasting lark, it never occurs to me to eat before lunch now. I’m starting to think about what to do when I reach my target which is only 1lb away. Obviously over Christmas there will be more indulgence so I’ll carry on skipping breakfast anyway. I guess after that just see where I’m at and if I keep losing I’ll add in a snack or something . Don’t want to lose the fasting benefits. When I’ve done 5:2 in the past, I noticed that as soon as I stopped the weight gradually crept back on whereas this is so easy for me now. Long may it continue.

You could relax a bit what you eat in your eating window? That’s probably what I’ll do. I don’t really have a target weight in mind though! I’ve never really been that aware of my weight in numbers, just more been aware of how I look and how my clothes feel.

I’m the same in terms of skipping breakfast. It just feels so naturally now to have two meals a day.

18 hour fast today. Had a picky lunch - roast ham, cheese, salad, chutney. Enjoyed a gingerbread digestive with a coffee… and dinner was that Bol range coconut turmeric dahl. Not bad.

Yeah I think that will be the way to go, although I enjoy what I eat now anyway and don’t often feel hungry. Perhaps I’ll make the weekends more relaxed . Anyway, got to get there first! Really hope Christmas doesn’t scupper everything. It shouldn’t do, I’ve never been one for buying lchocolate tubs or more than one packet of mince pies etc anyway as I’m the only one that likes them! . I just love the actual Christmas dinner and fancy bits like smoked salmon and canapés. Drinks will be more of a worry.

The usual 18 hr fast.
lunch: avocado and tomato salad with some feta etc, an apple
some pistachios after work- just love shelling and eating.
dinner: just making a Mexican style chicken -rice dish. Will have some blueberries after.

OMAD (or more accurately TMAD!) for me today as I went out for Christmas lunch which was a three course affair with pate, roast beef, tiramisu and wine! I was absolutely stuffed and started my fasting app at 2.30pm so just a 2.5 hour eating window but really I was uncomfortably full. I can't remember the last time I had a 3 course meal. Anyway, I'm trying to enjoy the social side of Christmas without going completely crazy. I put 7lbs on last December and I refuse to have that situation again.

Another 1lb down this week so slow and steady progress at the moment.

SW: 15st 1lb
CW: 13st 9lbs
GW: 11st

Weigh day and I’ve maintained at 60.9kg and I’m happy with that. Weekend again and planning on keeping booze to a minimum. Last weekend only had 3 drinks over the whole weekend. Going to get myself some new jeans and triousers as they’re all too baggy now.🥳 Happy Friday!

fasted 17 hours and had haricot beans and fried egg on rye for lunch.

Work Xmas do tonight with is a 3 course meal. Will pick at starter and give dessert to someone else. Too hungry today at lunch to attempt OMAD so will just have to take the hit tonight.

I’ve fluctuated up and down a little bit this week so am fully expecting might be a lb up when I weigh at the weekend. We shall see!

Overnight oats
Banana with peanut butter
Salad with feta, quinoa, tomatoes, cucumber, beans, nuts and seeds
A nakd bar and a couple of celebrations

Had a few days recently where fasting has not gone to plan so need motivation!

Weighed again and I have lost 0.5lb so 60.7kg. So close now. Seems that slashing the booze is helping. Weirdly I’m not even fancying it. I think the feeling in the morning is so good and I’m valuing that and the weight loss more than the extra drinks.

this is great!

booze wrecks sleep for me which makes me feel like shit. It’s such an instant stress reliever in the evening though! After I’ve got the kids to bed it just instantly takes the edge off.

messed up my fast with a toasted marshmallow at Santa’s grotto affair this am with the kids. It was fun though and you don’t do these things often!

Absolutely @jumpintheline and I remember the best sound when the kids were in bed and bottle of wine was pouring! I could cope with it then. Since meno if I have more than 3 I get palpitations and flushed cheeks. I’m not giving up , just trying to phase out the extras and keep the enjoyable. Trying to remember what Adrian Chiles said - the first one or two are the best and it doesn’t get better after that.

🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳I’ve made it to my target!
SW: 10st 6 End of June
TW & CW : 9st 7
Will probably be a whole stone this week. After so many plateaus it’s finally dropped steadily the last few weeks. Keep on keeping on! This is my best Christmas present to myself I think, just got to be vigilant over Christmas and not go overboard on more than a couple of days.
