I've over indulged this weekend - no fruit or veg and feeling bloated and heavy. Will see out the bank holiday weekend and weigh early next week - getting back on track.

Need to work on getting to goal to focus on maintenance.

yest went to plan until dinner - I had
my 2 sausages
a protein bar
half a sandwhich

but then had fish and chips! No pudding or wine

today am back on plan. Have announced it to guests too

waiting till 930 - yoghurt and almonds
eggs avacado
Harrissa chicken no potatoes for me

Have a fab time @Smartmove . We go to Cornwall over the summer, it’s so hard to be good there. So many nice cakes and ice cream! Sounds like you’re doing very well considering!

Good day here yesterday. Finding it hard though. Probably because of the sugar I had in the week. Plan to weigh Thursday. I was looking and I went on holiday this time last year. I was 9.12. So anything less than that on Thursday I’ll be happy. The year before I was 10.4. So going in the right direction. Just need a good run up to Thursday! 10K done today. Will try and run every day including Thursday. 20 mins of weights a night. Need to stay motivated!

Yest went to plan except the wine - prob had half a bottle of white wine. Oops.

yoghurt and almonds
Scrambled eggs and mushrooms for lunch (homemade so low cal)
chicken harrisa bake but I ate the new potatoes in it and the wine
a small bit dark choc
8000 steps only due to rain

im not looking fwd to wed weigh in! We travelling back tmrw so can stay on plan 100 percent tmrw

Yesterday was ok. No sugar. Only fasted until 11.30 though. So hard when at home. A few too many nuts but on track I hope. Will try and fast later today and lower cals!

Doing ok here. Just eating more than I should. Nothing unhealthy though. Scared to weigh. I think I last weighed last Wednesday and I’ve had 2 really bad days since then. I think I just want to be less than 9.12 on Thursday. Might weigh on Wednesday so I can prepare myself and not ruin my holiday by a number.

@Bubbles44 you e had great consistency and I hope the scales are kind to you when you decide to weigh. If the number isn't exactly what you'd like to see then focus on the positives. No gain in a while year and you workout a lot so expect your body composition has also changed.

@Smartmove Hope you've had a fab time away, well done for getting straight back on it for journey home. I think being able to quickly draw a line and move on is a massive positive.

I'm 10:13:7 today so about 3lb on over the bank holiday. That feels about right.

I'm probably only 50/50 on it this week, making good choices where I can but still enjoying the half term. Exercise is the plan every day this week even if only a walk.

Hope everyone else is getting on ok?

Not too bad @hollyblueivy sounds a good approach to the week, accepting you won’t be100% on it and enjoying it. Yes think lots of movement definitely helps.

@Smartmove hope you don’t find today too hard. Back on it and you’ll be back down!

Last day in work for a couple of weeks. I’ll manage a longer fast today a bit easier, been for a run. Will weigh tomorrow. No idea what I’ll be. I never resist the scale this well usually!

ige not been great. Well intentioned but long car journey services and crying kids meant I had a medium day. But not enough to loose any my weekend bloat

  • yoghurt nuts
  • chicken salad
  • defrosted some home made lamb mince chilli and had it with 2 low carb wraps.

would have been an ok day. A bit over cals but given travelling etc ok

but then I had 3/4 of a bar of dark choc and half a millionaire shortbread and I can’t promise I’ll go back for more!

good points are
j I didn’t drink yest and only 1 glass the day I arrived. So only one heavier day.
and I didn’t have a highly processed weekend it was all home made healthy stuff and actually apart from one scone and a bit of dark choc I didn’t eat anything with sugar in (Does drinking count!) despite being away-however I ate too much of the good stuff.

excepting 10.10 tmrw waaaaaaa

tonight planning my next 3 days to be 900 cals and 20g carbs to get as much of it off asap

9.9. Honestly didn’t expect that! Ideally I’ll have a really strict day today and be the same or less tomorrow for last weigh in before hols. Going to be hard with giddy kids and a busy day but need to stay motivated today!

Not too bad at all @Smartmove most of that will be off soon now you’re back on it. Have you got many social plans coming up or will it be easy to stay on plan?

Wow @Bubbles44 well done!!! Ur so close to goal!!!!!! I sometimes think not weighing stop the self sabotage! I’m planning on dropping to weekly once I get this bloat off

I have 1 social event a week until a big holiday mid July. I’m hoping to get to 10.3 my goal in next few weeks. I think I can handle 1 social event a week and still loose weight it’s when it’s the whole weekend that I struggle to loose and usually end up maintaining .

im hoping early next week im 10.5 and then its just 2 pounds to goal which i want to do before June ends

next event is Sat night - have chosen low carb options already! It’s DH bday so it’s a date night we don’t get very often so going to enjoy it but stick to gin and no pudding

@Smartmove A few low cal days should see the holiday pounds off soon enough. Your plan counting back from your big holiday is entirely achievable.

10:12:8 for me today. I'll see the rest of this week out and think of a proper plan and timescale to get to goal on Monday.

Really chuffed with weight today. Wanted below 9.12 so happy with that. I just need to navigate holiday now. Thinking I’ll run most mornings, I actually love holiday running so not too much of a chore. First day I’ll just try everything and then I’ll skip breakfast and every other day I’ll skip lunch too. I guess it all depends how tempting the food is.

Hope today isn’t too hard @Smartmove . Hard the first day back on it and feeling the need for a higher volume of food.

Sounds sensible @hollyblueivy enjoy your week with the kids without going crazy and new plans and goals next week!

but managed an hour excercise and starting fasting at 3pm and so will end up on a 19 hour fast
fingers crossed for 10.8 tmrw at least. Want this bloat off asap!

Well done @Smartmove back on it hope you start dropping fast. Good starting fast at 3pm. I really struggle starting to fast before 5pm. It always goes wrong when I try.

Good day. 22k steps. Had a bit of dark choc. Will weigh tomorrow. Could be up as had dark choc but I’m not bothered as was happy today.

Yes, soooo ready for some sunshine on my skin. Can’t believe how bad the weather is here. We fly late afternoon. Will probably get an early run in, fast until the airport. Try my hardest not to snack on the inevitable bags of chocolate I’ll be surrounded by. Definitely going to enjoy my holidays and not be too rigid. Need to balance it all out! Main thing I want to come home feeling refreshed and not all gross and bloated!

im 10.8 today. So thinking I’ll be 10.5 on Monday if I behave as I’m out sat night. Plan today

yoghurt berries
mozarella tomato
chicken sausages and veg

got my 1 hour PT too

sometimes get DOMS after that so may not see a drop a few days but let’s see tmrw

going to stop weighing once back at 10.5

9.9. So 3 less than last year!
Will check in on here whilst away to keep me accountable.
Last year I went from 9.12 to 10.2. Fully aware the same will happen again but it’s all about getting straight back on it, being mindful and just taking it easy with the sweet stuff.

@Smartmove Hope you have a good PT today - what are your goals for using them and do you feel you work harder with them there? I'd love to have a PT but not sure I can justify the cost.

@Bubbles44 A few pounds on over holiday is part of it, it helps with the reset when back too when you've had some little luxuries. Morning holiday runs sounds lovely!

10:10:8 for me today, a very surprising 2lb off from yesterday. We have a decent supply of sweet treats to get through over the next few days and I have some weekend socials so will definitely be going back up again before the week is up. That's fine though. Workout out daily must be helping.
