Today I've had smoked salmon and 2 boiled eggs, and a chicken salad for lunch. Didn't eat until 11 which helped. I feel so much more energised on low carb. 400 cals to play with for dinner later. Thinking of making the beef stroganoff on the website.

I couldn't bring myself to cut the pitta in half!!! Followed the pizza recipe from the Mailonline. Definitely over for calories today but still under 1000!

Is the website worth it?

Day 2 done.

Lunch at 12.30... omelette with mushrooms, tomatoes and 20g of grated cheese plus spinach on the side.

Snack... 10 cashew nuts.

Dinner.... chicken breast, red peppers, red onions and mushrooms cooking with a little bit of fajita spice. Blueberries and three strawberries as a dessert.

Have found today quite straightforward.

Hi everyone👋🏻 I’m on day 10 and so far I’ve lost 8lbs. My starting weight was 15st 5lbs, I’m now 14st 11lbs. I’m looking for reassurance that it’s safe as I’ve been reading some scary stuff🫣 on Google regarding side effects and how it’s not healthy. How far in is everyone and have any of you struggled with any side effects? Sorry if this has already been discussed! I really want to carry on because I’m so proud of my 8lbs loss but I’m worrying if I’m going to do more harm than good😬

Just to add, my current plan is to stick with this for 8 more weeks (I have a wedding to go to) and after that maybe up my calories? But not sure if that’d work

@RooRem2 that weight loss is fine - at first it's pretty common to drop quite a bit of water weight in weeks 1 and 2. Unfortunately you might have a week coming up soon where you don't lose at all which is also really common but after that you might find you lose at a consistent but lower rate

Going well here but I am so tired 😴 in the evenings! Bought some egg whites today and mixed with a normal egg for bf -not nearly as nice but cuts the cals a bit.

I've been experiencing some ahem... intestinal issues today! Doing OK with the food though.

Turkey steak and veggies for dinner
A couple of squares of dark choc too! Still under according to MFP!

TMI but does anyone get constipated on this diet? I'm trying to eat more fibre but still suffering! Happened to me last time I was on this diet too.

Things have definitely err reduced but not constipated so far - eating half a head of broccoli seems to help! I am also putting frozen cauliflower in my protein shake- which isn't that bad but kind of tastes like cold porridge.

No loss today, I could tell when I got up - wouldn't it be great if it just went down steadily a little bit every morning rather than stalls and whooshes!

I've been weighing myself daily and getting disheartened when I don't lose anything. Need to change to weekly I think.

so I’m starting today after a week of eating everything in sight on holiday! Starting weight much more than I thought hoping some of it water.

sw - 12 stone.
height 5.6
goal weight - 10 stone 7

had Greek yoghurt and Rasberries this am
lunch is smoked salmon and boiled eggs
dinner sausage tray bake with veg.
cones in at 900 cals

Sticking to it here. Still finding it very hard to last until 12 before eating. Today I was in a meeting so had to wait until 12.45. Was ravenous.

@blebbleb, mine hadn't gone down this morning. I find it so demotivating but I've promised myself I will do this for three weeks and see if it works. I half think I'm looking for the scales to stay the same this week so I can say 'see, I knew it wouldn't work'.

@FairyCakeSprinkles maybe you could just do 16:8 as and when it happens fairly naturally, I love Reddit fasting at the mo and some people think your body can get used to fasting so it might even be beneficial?

Weight did go down today - was a jump do was hoping it would put me not obese but I need to lose 2 more lbs!

@Addidas your meal plan sounded yum

Found out last night our flight for summer has been cancelled. Had a melt down but resisted the urge to eat biscuits Halo we should be able to rearrange things but it's a bit annoying as it's a rescheduled multiple times holiday.

I'm 12 days in now and the next weigh in is tomorrow. I have found I am less ravenous than the first week and can more easily get to noon now.

I'm eating around 400 calories for lunch and another 400 for dinner. I'm also having a few coffees a day with milk which know I shouldn't be but I feel like that would be one sacrifice too many Smile.

I'll post how I get on tomorrow.

im down 2.5 today . I know it’s water but I’m hoping there’s a lot of water there as I’ve put on 7 pounds on my celebratory holiday in 10 days so hoping that comes off asap.

coconut yoghurt and raspberry
Mozzarella tomato and basil salad
thai green curry with chicken and broccoli on cauliflower rice

comes in at 920

tmrw I’m going to a friends for late lunch / tea and I’ve no idea what she’s making. Not sure how to handle it it might be afternoon tea with sandwhiches?! Would it be weird to take out the fillings from it and admit I’m doing this diet (which I don’t mind but also don’t want to appear rude!) hopefully some cucumbers or something to snack on instead?!

@Alainlechat my milk in coffee I also can’t give up! It’s one pleasure I have to keep :) I just pop in 25mls in 2 coffees and pop it into my calorie count.

I also don’t know how u guys do 2 meals I just can’t! But I ate dinner at 4pm yest and just having brekkie now so was 16 hours and I feel fine..

@user1471561661, I think I will ultimately move to that but I promised myself I'd do three weeks of the 800 calories, 2 meals, 16:8. The weird thing is I've always been able to take or leave breakfast but I guess that is after snaking later into the previous evening.

Stuck to it again today. Chicken salad for lunch and the tikka masala from the book with cauliflower rice.

@Addidas, totally agree re keeping busy. I've been busy today and it's been easier. School fete tomorrow and I'm helping to set up and man the stalls. That should help keep me focused albeit I am on a cake stall at one point. Confused

Well done on keeping going everyone! After losing 10 pounds in the first 2 weeks I’ve got stuck on the same weight for 4 days in a row! I know that this is very common but it’s a stage I can’t wait to be over.

Heck chicken sausages, scrambled eggs and mushrooms for lunch then beef goulash for dinner with cauli rice.

Have got both the fast 800 recipe books from the library (yes I’m a cheapskate) and going to make creamy chicken tomorrow night. There are lots of lovely looking recipes in there but once I’ve disregarded most of the fish ones as I’m really not a fan and picked out the ones not very carb heavy there’s not that much left!

Morning all. I’m 11.9.4 This am. So another 2.2 down. I know it’s water but it’s still nice to see lower numbers.

brekkie is yoghurt and rasberries
lunch is walnut and Stilton chicory salad from fast 800 book
tea I’m at a friends and I’ve no idea what she’s making and I hope it doesn’t throw things off. I’ve said I’ll drive so I know I won’t drink!

@clare8allthepies I’ve done this diet before. Keep going. The stops and starts r annoying but it will come off. Don’t give up!
