Glad you are enjoying BR Yesbutno, it's a really good programme. Well done on dry January too!
Would love to hear your opinion on Les Mills Hermione, particularly the length of the workouts - I like mine around 35 mins max.
I hear you Algonquin on the weight gain over Christmas. I was a little miffed as I didn't eat nearly as much chocolate as I have over past years and still gained weight. It's annoying how easy it is to put the pounds on and how bloody hard it is to get them off
- It doesn't help that our cupboards are stuffed full of chocolate courtesy of well-meaning family members!
So good to see you back @Calmconfident . Feeling embarrassed that I forgot to add you to the list of names
- I knew I would forget someone.
Welcome @Newkitty - would be lovely if you joined us. 30DS is one of my favourites too. BR is similar, but it is a 90 day programme consisting of 3 phases. There are 15 workouts altogether; 12 strength and 3 cardio. The structure of the plan provides two workouts and one cardio a week to be repeated 3x for a total of 2 weeks. You then move on to the next set of workouts. So for instance weeks 1 and 2 should look like this:
(Day 1) Workout 1
(Day2) workout 2
(Day 3) Cardio 1
(Day 4) Workout 1
(Day 5) Workout 2
(Day 6) Cardio 1
(Day 7) Rest
You then move on to workouts 3 and 4 and Cardio 1 for the next 2 weeks (this is Phase 1). Workouts 5-8 are Phase 2 and Phase 3 are from workouts 9-12. When you move up a phase, you change the cardio to suit, i.e Phase 2 = cardio 2. God, apologies if I have waffled and made it confusing
Anyway it is fantastic, fun programme and you get really great results.
BS WO4 for the last time. Cardio 1 tomorrow and then I move up to the next level - gulp!
