30DS L2D7 & KB&T L2D6 - one of my least favourite combinations! I'm planning a rest day tomorrow.

I thought the same about the burpees Yesbutno but I can now manage them, not with quite as much gusto as Jillian of course, but baby steps 😆

Rest day yesterday and I nearly had another today but realised I had been literally sat on my ass the whole day so made myself do a 5k WWL and feel better for it. Such a lazy weekend Blush

Hello all, I'm delighted to see so many of you working hard and still "Jillianing" it this year Wink

I fell off the wagon completely since Christmas and only managed to restart BR this morning. I really enjoyed it last time so I'm just gonna do it again.
I've kept up some running but less than before Christmas too so I need to ramp that back up, but it's-1 here and icy so no way was I running this morning. Maybe later..

Anyway, I'm also trying to stay off my phone a bit too so probably won't post every day but good luck to you all. Keep on crushing it 💪

I barely made it past 10,000 steps today. It’s just too icy out there. I did do some indoor exercise though: KB&T L3D6 & 30DS L2D8

I bet those workouts clock up a decent amount of steps on their own Oubliette.

BS WO6 done for the last time. Now moving on to WOs 7 and 8 and admit to being a bit worried! One of the cast says something in workout 6 "You get what you work for, not what you wish for" and this really resonates with me for some reason. I know my tummy certainly won't get any smaller just by wishing for it Grin

Also a small victory in that I got my DS out for a walk this morning before home schooling began. I can't believe he actually came with me, but his mood has been getting lower recently and he really needed it. Am going to try and get him to come with me at least a few times a week. Not sure how long it will last though.

Actually @roonetta I find that Jillian workouts account for remarkably few steps. I’ve just done KB&T L1D7 & 30DS L2D9. When I started I needed 1400 steps to get to 10,000. I’ve still got over 100 steps to go.

That's a bummer Oubliette, although I suppose when you spend 50% of your time in a plank position, it's hardly surprising Grin

Felt too tired to do Jillian's BS cardio 2 today and was going to do a WWL instead. I settled on Cardio 1 from Body Revolution. It's amazing to see how much fitter I have become since the last time I attempted it. And even though running man is in every single warm up of BS, I still hated doing a whole minute of it in this WO Hmm

Hi all! Is anyone here using the JM subscription app or just working off the DVDs?
I’m thinking about subscribing but can’t find any reviews that are U.K. based as to whether it’s worth it?
I’ve got 30DS dvd and the kettle bell one already.

Hi @Verytired2019, I use a mix of DVDs and a website called bilibili.com which has most of Jillian’s workouts on. It is Chinese YouTube and if you search up Jillian Michaels in the search bar it brings up her workouts. You can then decide whether you use it enough to want to go a step further and get the App where you can tailor make workouts just for you and also has Jillian’s meal plans. I think there was a special offer recently of a lifetime subscription if you were a new customer, but I don’t know the exact price. Might be worth a Google though. I think I might just stick with the DVDs but will try out that site! I’m not sure I would get enough out of the app as I don’t think I would use the meal planning. Thank you! Will dig out 30DS again!

Hi everyone!! It's been a while since I updated on the thread but I'm still keeping up the BR workouts. (Had to take a few days off after my COVID vaccine on Sunday as I felt really poorly, but back on it this morning).

BR Day 43 for me here! Started on the next set of workouts today (week 7-8) which was challenging but nothing that sounds as horrendous as those single-armed burpees Shock that one of you mentioned earlier!!

Verytired I use Jillian's app as it gives me access to all of her DVD's plus other workouts and I've downloaded the app on to my TV too which makes it really convenient to watch. It cost me £26 for a 3 month subscription which I thought wasn't too bad. About half of what I was previously paying each month for my gym membership anyway! I haven't used the meal planning at all though so can't give you a view on that.

Good morning all!! Day 44 of BR here - still feeling a bit achey from yesterday too. You can really feel it again when you move up a level. There was a lot of fear leaving my body!!! Grin

Will hopefully go for a run later too to get some extra cardio in on my day off.

You certainly can feel it when you move up a level Algonquin. Just moved up myself to WO7 of BS and I have to say I couldn’t do a lot of it. I will persevere though, but when Jillian says at the start that even she does some of the push up combinations on her knees, I knew I was in trouble. And don’t get me started on the sissy squats (not sure if that’s how you spell it!). I’ve added a picture - have a go!

Hi @sobercurious2021 - Come and join us, there is no requirement to do JM workouts, you can do whatever you like 😊

I'm back! Sorry, stopped doing Jillian for a while once school went back in September and fell off the old thread, and then lost you all.

DD and I are back on RI30: L2D2 done yesterday. @sobercurious2021, we're only doing it 3 times a week, though I'm trying to make sure we get out for a walk every day.

i've just finished 30 days of 30 day shred! I didn't follow the diet plan so I'm not exactly shredded!! but am definitely stronger and more toned.

WHAT NEXT?!?!?!?! I don't want to give up the momentum. I feel like I've just got started. Should I try the Body Shred?

Hi @Newkitty - the usual progression is Ripped in 30 which follows the same format as 30DS but there are four levels and is a bit harder. I have added a list of her workouts ranging from beginner to advanced if that helps.
