30 day shred starts tomorrow!

Need to shift my winter flab and tone up so I'm going to do the 30 day shred starting tomorrow. I will carry on running 3 x per week as usual and I will be drinking no booze for the 30 days but otherwise eating normally. I'll weigh and measure my waist in the morning and use this thread as my diary to help me stay motivated- feel free to join in if you fancy Smile

Finding it tough at the moment as the babies are being really grumpy and clingy - and not napping - arrrggghhhh! They're not happy to play for 25 mins or so whilst I do a workout, although 2 mins whilst I scoff some chocolate is ok…..

We're away for a few days over the bank holiday, I'm hoping they'll be over this little phase by the time we return. I've ordered the Jillian collection DVD and will take that with me if it arrives in time. Hoping to find my workout & Slimming World mojo again, maybe it's hiding under lots of chocolate biscuits?!

Day 5 Level 1 done, and I'm actually seeing a difference in fitness! Can now do about 6 half-push ups, whereas previously it was 3 max. I've been having absolutely loads of rest days too due to being too busy at work, and have only done about 5 days out of 12. Have ordered the box set with Six Week Six Pack and some others. Addictive...

Day 29 done and I think it's starting to feel harder not easier. I'd hoped to have finished by now but doing two levels at a time really takes it out of me so I can really only manage 4-5 times a week.

We are off to a wedding today so I'll aim to finish the shred on Sunday or Monday and then onto ripped.

Day 25 done but I seem to look and feel bigger and I'm not losing any more weight. What's going on?!

Kirinm are you done?? Are you moving onto ripped now? I finish the shred on Sunday and don't know what to do next. I have a stone to lose.. Any ideas? Should I redo ghd shred but with heavier weights or go for ripped?

How annoying that must be, zippyswife! Have you weighed/ measured yourself to see if you are actually bigger? If so, I guess it might be muscle and not fat?

I've lost my motivation, not really enthusiastic about No More Trouble Zones and can't get a copy of Ripped in 30 that works!! Might stick with the Shred as at least that seemed to work me hard!

Ruby turns out I have lost weight. I just fluctuate (a lot). I finish the shred in a couple of days and plan to
Restart it with heavier weights following Natalie rather than Anita!!
