Bloody hell - that 7 min Davina exercise DVD

It works!

I've been at it a week. Before that, did fuck all exercise for YEARS. Ended up with a bad knee every time I tried running etc so gave up.

This was a last ditch attempt to stop my body basically falling off, and I was attracted by the fact it would all be done in seven minutes and at least I could tell myself I'd done something.

It actually frigging works.

(Promise I don't work for Davina. Booble plate, river of sweetcorn, cube of poo, pombears, elderly Korean lady.)

But if there is anyone who was like me, who hates exercise and just generally CBA with gyms etc, this is cracking.

I know, it's really good fun, showy .

But I damaged a nerve in my shoulder eight years ago doing boxing on the wii fit (another failed attempt at exercise) and it seems to be a weakness.

I can't deal with that kind of pain again. Jesus.

Thanks Stevie - I bought Davina's first exercise DVD donkey's year's ago and it's still in the cellophane Blush. Hopefully I'll be a bit more motivated with this one.

stevienickstophat · 15/02/2015 09:47

Honestly, Margot, if I can do it, anyone can.

Showy · 15/02/2015 09:48

Have you seen anybody about your shoulder?

mummytowillow · 15/02/2015 09:48

I've just got her 'fit in 15' DVD, I'm gutted I could have shaved off 8 mins of exercising! Wink

Haven't done it yet, it only arrived yesterday, but I'm sure it will be good.

MargotLovedTom · 15/02/2015 09:48

You should've taken some before and after photos!

BuzzardBird · 15/02/2015 09:49

Thank you Stevie and Showy for the replies. My GP has just referred me for physio (rather than sending me for x-rays to actually see what the problem is) so pretty sure she would say the excercise would be good. Don't want to sit around for 6 months waiting for physio.

stevienickstophat · 15/02/2015 09:50

I went to a physio showy. I'd ripped some nerves or something. It was absolute agony.

I am intrigued may see if I can get a copy.

I loathe exercise, never used to but I think after 6 years it's about time I got back in to it.

I haven't any weights thought, will 2 plump guinea pigs do? Grin

SheWhoDaresGins · 15/02/2015 09:51

*though not thought...

stevienickstophat · 15/02/2015 09:52

Ha, love the idea of guinea pigs.

I had to put up with being snogged by the dog when I was trying to do my abs Grin

Is it on you tube yet? (Tight arse)

Showy · 15/02/2015 09:54

Fit in 15 is awesome! Do the cardio one, I dare you. It starts off easily...

Buy weights. Argos have a decent set on offer atm. If you build some muscle tone not only will you be fitter and stronger but you will burn significantly more calories.

stevienickstophat · 15/02/2015 09:56

What weight should I start with? 2.5kg?

OP posts:
SheWhoDaresGins · 15/02/2015 09:57

Ledkr do you know anyone who does copies

stevienickstophat · 15/02/2015 09:59

Right, am off to fling myself around the front room with a tin of tuna!

I would try and get a weight selection like this so you can change depending on your exercise and progress.

GingerLemonTea · 15/02/2015 10:04

Ordered.
Baaaaa!

stevienickstophat · 15/02/2015 10:19

Right, just so you know about timings.

Have just finished a warm up and a fat burner workout.

I last posted at 9:59, and I went upstairs to get my sports bra on, have a wee and grab my tuna.

So that's how quick it is.

I'm going to do a set of abs now.

Knackered!

Grab my tuna?

Is that what they are calling it these days? Grin

AmazonGrace · 15/02/2015 10:36

Imagines you doing a Michael Jackson style pose while 'grabbing your Tuna' - shouting 'I'm bad' Grin

Does it involves lot of jumping up and down, running? We have a downstairs neighbour who is there all the time.
