Bloody hell - that 7 min Davina exercise DVD

It works!

I've been at it a week. Before that, did fuck all exercise for YEARS. Ended up with a bad knee every time I tried running etc so gave up.

This was a last ditch attempt to stop my body basically falling off, and I was attracted by the fact it would all be done in seven minutes and at least I could tell myself I'd done something.

It actually frigging works.

(Promise I don't work for Davina. Booble plate, river of sweetcorn, cube of poo, pombears, elderly Korean lady.)

But if there is anyone who was like me, who hates exercise and just generally CBA with gyms etc, this is cracking.

Warm up, legs workout, tone & burn done and dusted before 9am on a Saturday morning. Feel fantastic.

Hope you're all good. I was determined to do a couple of sessions as I did sweet fa yesterday plus I had wine last night. Needed to burn that cheeky stuff off.

Jeez Louise! Can you hear me wheezing?! Just done fat burner, tone and sculpt and the fitness challenge. I managed 45 secs of each 1 min section on the challenge. Except the push ups. I rested then, I'd done those in the tone and sculpt. And I managed the whole of the last min.

I quite enjoy the leg lunges too Amazon. I've been using a dining chair just to lightly rest a hand on when I'm doing them if I need to. I didn't feel like they were doing much before as I seemed to spend a lot of time trying to get my balance and not bending my knee over my toes. Now I can feel my front leg working can get my leg right back Grin.

I've stopped wheezing now. Off to do stretches!

Warm up, Boxing, Total Abs, Tone and Sculpt, Legs, and Stretch done.

My legs feel like jelly. Off for a shower and then hopefully persuade the DC to ride our bikes to the park.

Afternoon all! Everyone has been busy whilst I had two lazy days. Back to it this morning and have done warm up, fat burner and tone and sculpt. I think I'll do legs or abs tomorrow instead of tone and sculpt.

I've ended up with 3 days off due to one reason or another. I'll hopefully get back on it tomorrow morning, although my stomach feels or bloated and barrel like due to TOTM arriving, hopefully it will have gone down by tomorrow morning because I don't feel like lumbering my body around!

I must keep thinking of my holiday in 17 weeks to maintain some motivation.

Joining thread after getting this as a present yesterday (asked for, not rude Grin Grin).

Just did warm up, sculpt and tone and total abs. Was fab - doesn't feel like much or too long doing it, but certainly got hot.

I have loads of weight to lose. I'm trying to get into good habits.

I was less bloated this morning, so I got my exercise clothes on and did, warm up, fat burner, box fit, abs and stretch. I've been saying it for thenfew weeks we have been doing this, but I do know need to get my eating in order. Thankfully we haven't got anymore hot cross buns.

Morning. Had a weekend of doing nothing at all due to family staying so was really looking forward to it this morning. Unfortunately smallest ds had other ideas and has been up coughing most of the night so I am knackered!

Hopefully I'll be able to get on it tomorrow.

Morning all. Sorry have been AWOL - had a bit of a full-on weekend, plus a horrible cold and sore throat that is making me feel rubbish.

How seriously do you have to take the 'don't exercise when ill' advice in the disclaimer? I'm having a run of bad luck re: colds at the moment, and I'm worried I'll completely get out of the habit.

I miss my bendy man :(

Morning all! Hope those feeling sick or tired will feel better tomorrow. Am finding it hard to get motivated this morning .... not even a teeny sore muscle after yesterday so feels like I have nothing to show for it. Maybe a change in routine will help today. Right .... going to give myself a pep talk and get on with it. Will report back later!

stevie I believe the advise is, that if the cold is above the chest, then continue exercising, although you may have to be less vigorous, but if it is below the chest i.e. a chest infection, then do not exercise.

Me? Oh the shame! Cringe. I did the warm up, dd joined me mid fat burner which didn't help. She then left in a huff when I told her I couldn't talk so that completely distracted me. Tried the legs workout. Oh god, it was tough. Probably only managed 70% of it. So that was me done for the day but I felt so guilty at not doing enough that I went back 10 mins later and did tone and sculpt. My thighs feel very jelly like coming downstairs!

Onwards and upwards?!

Today I did the warm up, Fat Burner, Tone and Sculpt, and Abs.

Then I did Day 2 of C25k,came home and did Total Stretch.

I've had 3 days off and back today with stretches, pilates, mainly abs and legs. I haven't worked up a sweat yet, and still in my sports kit, so (as it's a day off) might just keep doing 10 minutes here and there around housework etc for the rest of the day.

Had good intentions of doing a couple of sessions this morning but didn't get up on time, will either do one tonight or a couple in the morning.

Good on you all for your work outs today, Stevie, you've done so well so far, get back on it when you feel fit enough, think we're all doing so well and you're right, Summer is just around the corner, I have a festival to go to (well one day) and if it's nice I want to 'nail' my Summer outfit (dreams)

Uh-oh! My weights have arrived. 2kg seems MUCH heavier than I thought it would!
I really do think that tone and burn will no longer be my favourite now!

Don't push yourself too hard stevie - allow yourself enough time to get better!

I had a dream the other night that Davina posted on this thread and tried to get us all to buy her other dvds. We were having none of it! .

I bought some 2kg weights last week kat. They felt much heavier and I'm glad I listened to people here and didn't go for the 3kg. But, once I got started it was fine and I really felt I'd done something that the 1kg weights weren't doing anymore. You'll be fine Smile.

You were right not to go for the 3kg, you can really feel the weight in them during the tone and burn session. Still they're all I have atm, other than beans, so shaky arms shall remain Grin

So I just weighed my weights. 0.683 kilos! [blush} I thought some of those exercises were a bit easy. Might try some 1.5 kg ones.
