badger that is AMAZING news! Congratulations. Cvs not much fun is it, but the results are so definite one way or the other. What a lovely Christmas you're going to have
.
Rhet that's terribly sad, but I think you're probably right about her reasons. It sounds as though maybe she wanted to spare her family the additional pain of those last weeks and days. How incredibly brave, but sad.
orange your poor DB yes you're right to stay away as presumably his immune system is compromised. How is your nephew coping?
debi - you star! I can only dream of those times ....
alma I can't decide if you're very brave or foolish. Softplay on Christmas Eve! I would only be able to cope with that if large amounts of wine were made available!
So, not suffering too badly after last nights excesses. A new experience for me, I'm not a meat eater (was a vegetarian for many years) but have just come back to it and last night dared to order a medium steak. It was lovely! I would never have tried a slightly bloody steak before, but it was good to try! I may even do it again one day!
Just back from a lovely 4 miles, bit selfish as we have loads still to do, but what the hell. And I feel I deserve it as the next two days I'm going to be chained to the oven.
In other news, ds1 has freaked me out by setting up the new telly and hard drive thing with virtually no help. In fact he was correcting me. This is despite having multiple cables, sky dish and digibox, blu ray, play station and DVD player all jumbled like spaghetti at the back of the telly (honestly it's really bad - the old owner was a TV cameraman and there are cables in this house we occasionally ponder then push quietly out of sight). Have been completely upstaged by a just turned 9 year old
