Supposed to be working but could not resist challenge of new thread title!

OP posts:
fannybanjo · 19/12/2011 23:07

monkey no - I ain't on roids or no - his penis didn't even fill a thimble?

fannybanjo · 19/12/2011 23:08

Or no - the twat left me high and dry in Tenerife with no money and no-one to stay with?! AngryGrin

monkeyLFDTwench · 19/12/2011 23:13

I meant the ThimbleDick bit, but it's all pretty shocking!

monkeyLFDTwench · 19/12/2011 23:15

I watched a programme once about a man with a tiny penis. He went to see a specialist who said "well basically this is what we call, in medical terms, a micro penis." Gee thanks for the sensitivity, doc!

fannybanjo · 19/12/2011 23:15

The wizard's beard is the one thing I just can't ever get over. What genetic failing makes a woman's pubes straight...?

fannybanjo · 19/12/2011 23:17

Grin at micro dick. I can't understand why a man would rather have HUGE muscles and micro dick. It's like a woman choosing bigger tits and having to put up with a ginormous fanny too. You'd rather not.

bonkersLFDT20 · 19/12/2011 23:17

OMG! I'm feeling all festive and holy (that'll be the Snowball) having wrapped many gifts and then I think I'll check on here before I go to bed and you're all talking about small knobs.

Behave or I'll make you do three extra laps in cross country tomorrow!

Black Swan is NOT about ballet. I watched it on a long haul flight. I told my three male colleagues what it was about and they all watched on the way back!

I accidentally ate 2 slices of coconut and cherry loaf spread thickly with butter thinking I hadn't had any dinner. Then I remembered that I had (had dinner that is). Woops.

So, what have you all got your DHs/partners for Xmas? I've got mine some Ronhill tracksters (he's a cyclist), some LFDT gloves and a DVD he asked for.

fannybanjo · 19/12/2011 23:18

DH LOVED Black Swan. I hated it.

Hey bonkers any super duper runs planned?

fannybanjo · 19/12/2011 23:19

I won't bore you with DH's gifts. No-one in the entire world has got the same present.

bonkersLFDT20 · 19/12/2011 23:22

Straight pubes are common (normal?) in Asian women (not Indian - they're caucasian, but China, Japan etc).

You know, I don't know whether my armpit hair is straight or curly - I don't think I've ever grown it long enough. Maybe I will do so from today. It will be a good look with my strapless bridesmaid dress on the 7th Jan don't you think?

fannybanjo · 19/12/2011 23:25

Bonkers fortunately we've had the straight pube discussion before and Moshi informed me I was not alone in this blip. If I weren't so pale skinned, blue eyed and blonde, I'd be checking my mum didn't have it off with the Chinese dry cleaner she was pally with.

fannybanjo · 19/12/2011 23:26

You can incorporate it into the dress bonkers. Like a fur shrug?

monkeyLFDTwench · 19/12/2011 23:26

Hehe bonkers that's the running thread for you!

Guess what I had for tea tonight - got in from my run and couldnt be bothered to cook so had fish fingers and peas! Nigella your crown is safe! And watched the end of Hachi with ds1 and had a little cry.

Haven't seen Black Swan yet. But I've bought DH the complete boxed set of The Wire.

fannybanjo · 19/12/2011 23:29

Claps at monkey for The Wire purchase. Ohhh I'm so excited for him. He's a Wire virgin, so jealous. Actually trying to convince DH to re-watch it.

fannybanjo · 19/12/2011 23:30

Fuck it's 11.30pm and I'm not in bed! Blush

monkeyLFDTwench · 19/12/2011 23:33

We do like a nice boxed set to make up for the complete shit on telly every Christmas.

And in other news DH is bloody well out AGAIN tomorrow night - but only just told me. So no run for me tomorrow night Angry.

fannybanjo · 19/12/2011 23:39

Monkey you gonna watch it too? Oh you MUST PM me after each episode and we can discuss hotness of Stringer Bell. Sad for DH's multitude of piss ups. How funny that you only worry you can't run! That's my first thought when DH out.

monkeyLFDTwench · 19/12/2011 23:58

Will do!

Yes the run thing is funny, but so true. Running is my safety valve, without it I can be a grumpy beetch a bit of a challenge. DH always knows it's been one of those days if my shoes are by the front door .....

fannybanjo · 20/12/2011 00:04

I'm mega stressed today - can tell cos it brings out my minxiness. DDs are all going through problematic stages. Can't cope some hours of the day, it's a constant fight who sits next to me at breakfast, lunch, dinner. Who loves me the most, Who gets my phone when I'm driving. If they weren't my own I'd be flattered but as they are mine, it's plain exhausting. To make matters more stressful, my ironing pile growing by the hour! Monkey hope you get out tomorrow for a run, no-one who could watch boys for even 30 mins?

monkeyLFDTwench · 20/12/2011 00:20

No, definitely won't be able to run but if I can get ds1 and 3 to hand over the wii remotes I might just get to shred. Sympathies though, ds2 has gone to granny's overnight and I was literally mouthing thank you God as he got in the car - love him to bits, but that boy can't half go on .......

SonicMiddleAge · 20/12/2011 02:21

Self obsessed post alert. Been avoiding the threads recently and not able to go running due to workload, and already feeling grumpy enough about that without reading about the runs everyone else is getting to do! But did a great hill/interval training session yesterday, basically running up and down the same hill for an hour with threats of push-ups if the times didn?t keep coming down. Unfortunately running is going to have to go on hold for a but generally ? went to GP today, for results of CT scan on my knee. I do love Australian GPs, she read through all the details of the scan, full of stuff which I dodn?t really understand like extensive cartilage fissures, and chrondal lesions, then looked up to me and said basically, it?s buggered?. Have a surgeons appt on 11 Jan, on the expectation of a arthroscopy. Has anyone here any experience of these ? how long should it take me to get going again? I think dh is almost more worried than I am ? he made some sensitive comment along the lines of living with me in swimsuit season and unable to exercise was going to be hell...

DrNortherner · 20/12/2011 07:45

Oh sonic why on earth where you hill sprinting with a buggered knee?! I think a buggered knee is something we all dread.....I have no knowledge of your condition, hope they can operate, sort it, and you can get back to running. Incidentally a guy at our running club has had both knees replaced, was told he should never run again but he loves it sooooo much he still runs 6 days a week and enters fell races, he always runs in pain but says the pain of not running is far worse........mad or committed? - you decide!

I feel a bit odd today. Have ear ache coming on in right ear, hope it's not the start of something.

For Chrimbo I have got dh POLO by RL, a G shock watch he was oggling after, a book about olympic records, some pants and some bicycle clips so he can look a right twat when he cycles to work - sick of seeing him tick his trews in his socks.

I am chuckling at 'micro penis'. I have a meeting today about 'micro sites' and am now worried I will say something else........

Have a good day y'all

DrNortherner · 20/12/2011 07:47

Oh and no one on the bare fanny thread even commented on my random posting of a thong..........Hmm

monkeyLFDTwench · 20/12/2011 07:57

sonic that is not good news Sad. My nephew had an arthroscopy and was laid up for a month, BUT he had a load of bone removed as part of the procedure. Which in the long run resolved his pain. Is yours investigative or are they hoping to resolve the problem at the same time? Love your GP, she sounds great.

drN - miss, miss, it was fanny what started it ..... Love the fact that no one even mentioned the fanny/thong reference , it's a bit of a twilight world here on the running thread and I'm not sure anyone else gets our sad and sick sense of humour, you should have put [vain] after it though ......

AlmaWalkingInAWinterWonderland · 20/12/2011 08:07

Sonic, that sounds miserable :( MIL had some kind of operation on her knee and seemed to be up and out again reasonably fast (maybe a week) but not sure what she had done.

DH is only getting a new Wii game because he got stuff earlier in the year. We do stockings for each other though (stockings are my favourite bit!)

I haven't seen Black Swan, is it grim or is it OK? I still cry at everything these days so avoid anything too harrowing.

Fanny Grin at micro-penis, Shock at him leaving you in Tenerife though! There are some right charmers out there.
