He’s going to do it after the Queen’s speech. What have we become? It’s not democratic to suspend parliament. It’s what Dictators do. I’m not a Labour supporter, I’m Centre right, but I’m ashamed to be British right now with this awful PM. It’s not about the Brexit vote now, it’s about Boris the unelected leader (Dictator). It is quite normal to prorogue a parliament at the end of one parliamentary session and before the start of the next. All governments do this on a regular basis. Given the change of PM and most of the cabinet, it would not be unusual to draw a line under what May had promised to do and to start a new session with a new Queen’s Speech.

(I always have a week or so of food in stock - some people's ideas of prepping are more in line with my normal stire cupboard. My suggestion s to make sure you have plenty of thinks like loo paper, walking up liquid etc because if there are hiatuses in supply, food will be prioritised and it's worth having an extra pack/bottle of non-food things that you'd prefer not to do without)

I really think talk of food hoarding is inappropriate right now. We are being told Parliament will not sit. Our MPs are effectively barred from discussions in Parliament. Any deal cannot be brought to Parliament if it’s not sitting! There must be a Parliament.

People who have enough money to hoard food etc will ensure shortages for less fortunate people. So don’t do it. Be reasonable. Prices will go up and that’s making it difficult for others too!
