What other votes are there on 12th? I'm dosed up to the eyeballs with codeine and struggling to follow what's going on (other than the main players doing nothing useful / helpful!).

If MPs vote for an extension on Thurs, does the bill specify how long the requested extension will be?

And if the extension bill passes, what would be the next step? How long would it take the EU to respond?

I would say about 10 minutes!

I think they will ask for a short extension regardless so I expect the bill to reflect that.

Politically May will find it difficult to do anything different.

Whether the EU will find that acceptable is another matter. It doesn't resolve the issue if May still can't pass the WA and there is no alternative on the table.

I'm bewildered as to what happens if the votes are as follows -

NO NO DEAL
