What will happen now?

OP posts:
SillySallySingsSongs · 15/01/2019 19:55

But if he loses, then what?

No deal or delaying article 50 to get a better deal.

There is no if, he will lose.

watfordmummy · 15/01/2019 19:56

I think I hate JC more tonight than ever.

The people voted to leave
May got a deal - not great but only deal on the table
Parliament votes it down - for what???

SillySallySingsSongs · 15/01/2019 19:57

Of course he'll lose it but that means he has to move his position... to what?
Does he even know himself?

Who knows. Tories have a remainer fighting for leave and Labour have a leaver in a party that is remain.

brizzledrizzle · 15/01/2019 19:57

So now what?

PinkGin24 · 15/01/2019 19:57

No Deal and get on with it...

Namechangeragain01 · 15/01/2019 19:57

Jc is truly useless.
I think we're heading for no deal

CatnissEverdene · 15/01/2019 19:58

The whole thing is a disgrace.

We voted leave, just fucking do it already.

All this bullshit and we're still handing over billions to the EU while it's going on (£9 billion in 2017 net contribution).

robininbrum · 15/01/2019 20:00

I hope David Cameron is proud of himself.

This is all his fault.

It's gonna be 'no deal' isn't it?!

Mokepon · 15/01/2019 20:02

Sorry but AGGGGHHHHHH!!!
This is unreal.

WrongKindOfFace · 15/01/2019 20:02

No Deal and get on with it...

How do we ‘get on with it’? No fucker seems to know.

AmmoniteMum · 15/01/2019 20:02

The fall in the pound has cost this country more than all the EU contributions of the last 40 years.

MinecraftHolmes · 15/01/2019 20:02

Surely the only options left are No Deal or Scrap the Whole Idea?

Fucking ridiculous. David Cameron has a LOT to answer for.

Wotev · 15/01/2019 20:03

It's looking like No deal alright.

thelikelylass · 15/01/2019 20:03

What are WE going to do then?

delboysskinandblister · 15/01/2019 20:04

Do we panic buy petrol?

jasjas1973 · 15/01/2019 20:04

I wish DC could be put on trial.

No-deal wont happen, we nor the EU want it, perhaps an extension to A50 and movement on the redlines that will allow a different deal & a softer brexit, along the efta model

Wotev · 15/01/2019 20:04

It's worth noting that Ireland is prepping for a no deal.

PinkGin24 · 15/01/2019 20:05

Jasjas1963 who is this 'we' that don't want no deal!? I voted leave ans want No deal, as did every person I know who voted leave.

XingMing · 15/01/2019 20:06

JC's VONC is political posturing until he states the direction in which he will take his party, and he can't spell out a line, because his party is as divided as the Tories. His numerical strength is in Leave territory, so his MPs can't really be seen to defy their voters' wishes.

SillySallySingsSongs · 15/01/2019 20:06

Do we panic buy petrol?

Errrr no Hmm

VamillaSugar · 15/01/2019 20:07

So now we have an official Brexit Crisis.

Yabbers · 15/01/2019 20:07

I am so sick of JC and the like using this for political gain. If he cared about the country he wouldn’t be causing the chaos. Him and JRM should be kicked out of parliament.

Wotev · 15/01/2019 20:07

I'd be filling your cars up with petrol on the 28th March alright.

chemenger · 15/01/2019 20:07

May has acted throughout like a PM with a huge majority behind her. She has failed to consult with other parties, or even with most of her own, she has failed to give information about the negotiation to parliament. Now this has come back to bite her and the country is in total disarray.
Corbyn has failed to have a clear position on anything, adding to the chaos.
Parliament has taken back control, but too late.
Corbyn was more or less obliged to submit a motion of no confidence, this was a defeat of historic significance, even just by the numbers. The government cannot pass its most important piece of legislation so parliament cannot have confidence in it (although I am sure that the tories will fall back in line tomorrow).

NotSuchASmugMarriedNow1 · 15/01/2019 20:08

I'm not gonna panic buy petrol. I'm just gonna buy petrol before the panic buyers buy it all Wink
