There's a deal.

The press are over excited.

May has united the country.

Everyone hates it.
(Apart from David Allen Green)

Parliament might yet reject it.

Nothing is yet decided and everything is still to be sorted.

He wanted the Uk to be immune from the rules, but to make rules for all the other countries
So he was already away with the fairies and believing in unicorns then....

There was a question last night as to why Mr Barnier changed from French to English only when talking about the issue of Ireland. I am presuming this is because in translation French to English can be a bit 'imprecise', so he would want the understanding that was in his head to not be misinterpreted by 'non regular' French-English translators (UK press for example). I feel the Irish, in common with the Balkans are damn careful about the use of words during translation.

Jacob Rees Mogg says he's not "offering " his name as leader of the Tory Party

Because he is happy to do some shit stirring but is intelligent enough to know any outcome will be bad and he would be held responsible.

I HATE that sort of person that leaves other to do the dirty work.

A couple of ambitious people in the CDU & CSU

The AfD - and iirc the FN - have backed away even from leaving the Euro, never mind leaving the EU
For them, it's all about the Muslims
Anything else risks letting people think

David Baddiel @Baddiel
I feel I should take the job of Brexit Secretary now. If only so that when I resign, Theresa May can finally be proved right than No Deal is better than a Baddiel.

Well David, if no one else wants the job...

Can someone teach Moggs to talk normally?

He speaks like cartoon.

I do know a leaver who likes him, doesnt know his name because they don't know enough like you (me) you should run as a MP you understand more than I do but nevertheless he's the man with the round glasses who they like...

For the record im sure most on the thread know I don't know enough to be a MP... I mean I know the border in Ireland isn't a dog and the dover port is important and close to France but still I think the role requires more knowledge then that.

Facebook accused of dark PR tactics

Facebook faces a new controversy over alleged tactics it used to discredit its critics, embarrass rival firms and downplay problems at the company.

The New York Times has published a wide-ranging account of the methods Facebook and a public relations firm used to "deny and deflect" criticism.

The report has led US lawmakers to call for tighter regulation of social networks.

Facebook has denied several of the claims.

I really believe that - if people are given the time and the chance to read this document carefully - then the majority (if not eighty percent!) will support it.

Erm, Rory love.

I think you might need a lie down this afternoon.

Comment in France about Brexit
La question est : quelle est la voie du suicide national ?
L'appartenance a l'Europe ou le Brexit.

The question is: what is the way for National suicide?
Being part of the EU or Brexit?

Actually sums up quite well the issue imo.
Are you disappearing as a country by been in the EU and giving so much power away to it on all the laws and regulations.
Or are you disappearing even more by been on your own as a little country (and the added economic disaster)

Hazard
If you are aware of any place outside the M25 you are on to a winner. If you can put Lands End, Liverpool, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Belfast on a map in approximately the right places you probably hit 'genius' level (for this contest). And a bonus point for Gibraltar!
