Brexiteers - it is clear for all to see that we are being disgustingly trolled by remainers on this thread, one remainer in particular is doing his ( & I’m certain it’s a man ) best to insult us, even when we’re recently bereaved. The only way to get these idiots off our backs is to report them to MNHQ, which I’ll be doing from now on.
Their only purpose for coming on this thread is to goad & annoy - & that is against talk guidelines.

This is a thread for people positive about leaving the EU, it is not a discussion/ torture thread for remainers to come on & attack leavers.
Remainers know full well what they’re doing coming on here - there’s no need, you’ve got other threads you can go on, or start your own. But you just want to goad & that is against talk guidelines.
Why you’d want to get banned over this god only knows? is coming on here & throwing a few insults around worth getting banned?
Because if you keep getting reported for the same thing that’s what will happen.

So, once more, just so there’s no confusion-

This is not a thread for arguing - it is a thread for people happy about leaving the EU

Mention all the happy thoughts you have about leaving the EU. Chat about the positive aspects of leaving the EU. Gossip about all the non EU fun you will have.

Asking why you are positive about something you are positive about is hardly a trick question.

You cannot control a thread based on poster emotions ie they must be “happy” to post here.

Thing is - if people kept going on the cat forums and saying how much they dislike cats and cat owners are mental they’d get reported - same with the one child forum. If I kept going on there saying negative things about one child families I’d be reported -
Just because this thread is on mumsnet doesn’t mean people have the right to come on it and call us mental & do nothing but goad.

Hopefully we can get on with chatting once this problem has been sorted.

Some positives about leaving the EU

Our passports will be made and printed in the EU.

Our Vehicle validation agency will have less new vehicles to test and the EU based agencies will be testing vehicles that will/may be manufactured in the UK.

The HoC Home Affairs Select Committee yesterday reported that if we are to continue to have the benefit of EU shared intelligence/EU arrest warrant/Europol we can, but that is all under the jurisdiction of the ECJ and may take longer than the implementation/transition period to Dec 2020, but is possible.

These were all mentioned in the news yesterday. I can see the positives - for the remaining EU member states.
