Good news yesterday < gets out green highlighter >
Still work to be done but it’s another step in the right direction.

Wine

Ps: completely given up on the Brexit Arms as it’s been taken over by remainers.
This is our chilled out place to post on in the run up to March 2019.

Positive people only Smile

actually we will still be 'in' the EU. Only without a say in the rules and with none of the exemptions we previously had.

And with a slow drip-drip of falling standards in food quality/animal welfare/workers' rights, and people leaving the UK and no new people coming...

It'll be like the good old 70s and 80s again when we were the sick man.

Ithinksheisawuss · 21/03/2018 19:17

So the positive things about leaving are......?

Hasenstein · 21/03/2018 19:50

So the positive things about leaving are......?

Yes, what are we actually supposed to be looking forward to "in the run up to March 2019"? I'm all for a party, so I'm dying to know what we'll be celebrating with Wine.

Doubletrouble99 · 21/03/2018 20:23

I'm here Surfer. But I really won't be partaking in any inquisitions. So just ignoring.

Moussemoose · 21/03/2018 20:43

Wow a positive thread, for positive people and no one can think of anything positive to say. That's sadSad

Peregrina · 21/03/2018 21:02

Blue passports which don't have the words European Union on them. That must be worth a good few lost jobs surely? Grin.

LondonMum8 · 21/03/2018 21:28

"So just ignoring."

Too bad @Doubletrouble99, we were really hoping to hear your views on the multitude of unanswered questions that have been put to the Leavers, starting with the one a few posts above.

OliviaD68 · 21/03/2018 21:43

@LondonMum8

They've all stopped fighting. They now realise they have no arguments. They've probably been brainwashed by CA and don't know it.

The lack of resistance is good. Just a matter of time to kill this idiotic project off.

Talkstotrees · 21/03/2018 22:03

I’m not sure they’ll ever accept the damage they’ve done. I don’t entirely blame them as they were manipulated useful idiots.
But I I do blame them a bit. Actually, a lot. They’ve fucked our country. Fuckers.

mummmy2017 · 21/03/2018 22:07

So now we can go after trade deals. Pleased about that. Let's get the fishing back as well.
Think the elections happening may be of concern for EU.

Moussemoose · 21/03/2018 22:13

Fishing - we lost the argument now we will lose it again.

We will be forced to take the deal we are given. Just like this deal.

If we remained within we might, just might have gained concessions, by leaving you have made sure the things you wanted will never happen.

mummmy2017 · 21/03/2018 22:15

By rehashing the we don't want to go position do you really think you are making a difference?

OliviaD68 · 21/03/2018 22:16

Oh here's mummmy again.

Now folks I think we can safely say this one is a product of CA ...

mummmy2017 · 21/03/2018 22:17

Also you have your own posts. It's just they don't seem very busy. DO you think it is because most people just don't care and just want it sorted .

Moussemoose · 21/03/2018 22:17

Nope my vote made no difference. You voted out you must take responsibility for the fishing industry being screwed over again.

OliviaD68 · 21/03/2018 22:19

They are all busy mummmy. But we can do more than one thing at a time.

How's Facebook going for you?

LondonMum8 · 21/03/2018 22:20

UK fishing industry represents something like 0.05% of the economy, less than a single Nissan factory. Yet, JRM believes people are utter morons and give a fck.

mummmy2017 · 21/03/2018 22:22

Wouldn't know been too busy with 2nd death in family in 6 months...

themueslicamel · 21/03/2018 22:23

I'm here Surfer. But I really won't be partaking in any inquisitions. So just ignoring.

Me too Surfer👍🏼😎🇬🇧

Doubletrouble99 · 21/03/2018 22:29

So sorry for your loss Mummy. Take care. It's just not worth getting involved in all this goading. It's supposed to be the 'Leaver's Lagoon' but guess who came on within mins. of Surfer starting the thread - Bear who else!
As far as I'm concerned things are moving along. It's not an easy process but I think we are doing quite well, roll on March 19.

mummmy2017 · 21/03/2018 22:34

Thanks Double. Very stressful for the family.
I am glad they are moving on with things, it gives us hope that we will get out of all this and that the EU know they can't keep pretending if they hide their eyes and hum this matter will go away.

Talkstotrees · 21/03/2018 22:35

I feel for you Mummmy - I lost my darling daddy in November and it’s still bloody raw :( xxx

Peregrina · 21/03/2018 22:36

Oh dear, the 'iconic' blue passports are to be printed by a French firm.

mummmy2017 · 21/03/2018 22:40

I know what you mean. It's the turning round to tell them something or when you go to phone.
Dad was a good age had seen loads good job and he just wanted out ASAP.

LondonMum8 · 21/03/2018 23:23

Actually sorry to hear about your loss mummy. I will let you off your usual bollocks tonight on that account.
