Kindly bring it back Surfer.
No matter what we discuss or don't discuss there, this discussion must keep going.

"There's an obvious reason why seats in the European Parliament aren't apportioned purely on the basis of population."

I agree Random, but my point is, there is no across board standardisation. Its negotiated. Just how democratic is that as a formula?

Im just on another thread sunseptember, re latest tax twist and turns, (so I wont bore by reposting) , but what could be interesting re Luxembourg, is Germany and France have their sights set on demolishing the 'tax haven' status of Luxembourg, Ireland etc (whilst creating their own in places like Mondheim). Itll be interesting to see if Junker puts the EU, and France and Germanys interests, before his own nation over this. I suppose it'll come down to whose paying the piper.

Michael Caine, who lives where, for tax purposes? Yes, I will listen to him. He should stick to what he used to do best, i.e. make films.

^He said his decision to leave the Brussels club was not based on economics or immigration, but because “I’d rarer be a poor master of my own fate than a rich servant someone else’s”.

...says millionaire wanker.

Peregrina · 22/09/2017 18:07

Not sure what links Transport for London has with Estonia.

Good that a company which had not acted on sexual attacks on women has been stripped of its licence.
