The thing is, unless I'm lacking in understanding, is whoever the new leader of the Tories/PM is, they are basically back to square one, only the board has been reversed.
Presumably it will be a "Leaver" tory who will have to face down the problem that there will be a sizeable majority of "Remainers" who can cause all sorts of mischief.
I have no idea how treaties work, but if it's going to take several individual acts of Parliament to unravel the UK/EU relationship, then every single one becomes a new battleground.
Add to the mix a disorganised Labour party that can't be predicted, and it's a hihgly toxic brew.
And don't forget, while all this is going on, there has to be business as usual. If nothing else a new US administration to engage with (although if they have any sense, they'll give the UK a wide berth until Brexit is done and dusted. Especially since Leave repeated told them to fuck off and mind their own business).
Everywhere you turn, there's a shitstorm waiting to happen.
