I once anaesthetised a lady who had had 6 kids who came for surgery to tighten everything up down there as she was not feeling much during sex. My assistant referred to her vagina as a 'wizards sleeve'. Glad I don't have one of those. She also had 'lick this' tattooed inside her labia! I was shocked and I am pretty unshockable.

OMG why on earth would you want to have your labia tattooed 😱

wonky I had an endometrial scratch which sounds similar to above? I had it just before I started my injections and it hurt a lot! They struggle to get a spectrum in, but always have with smear too as I have a tilted cervix - great!! So a nurse has suggested I put my hands in first and place under my butt cheeks and this helps a bit, the scratch was painful but doesn't last long, hopefully will all be worth it!

I've had a sore eye for couple days now, thoiyght I was probably getting a stye from tiredness and nope saw a optician (very fit I may add! Slight crush) as got so bad today when I bent down at work the pain was immense. So optician looked and said I have a blocked oil gland (yes I didn't know they were a thing either) he suggested doctors, but gave me some tips to try and squeeze out the puss so I can avoid doctors, been doing every hour! God I don't need this right now! Certainly don't want antibiotics! 😩😩xx

Haha I'm glad I don't have a big flappy hole too! Glad I'm not the only one having problems! I was worried I was "too tight" as I told the consultant lol x

Ouch Paws, I had the same thing a couple of years back and it was really painful, gave me massive headaches. When I went to the doctor the cyst was the size of an olive and hard so he put me on strong antiobiotics and told me to come back the following morning and if it hadn't improved he would send me to the hospital to have it surgically drained. Needless to say that I did everything I could to soften it and empty the cyst as much as I could over the next 24h!! Lots of hot cotton compresses and gently press and a lot of perseverance did the trick for me. Hope it is better this morning!

Oh shite yeah that's what I want to avoid Antibiotics! Off for a stims scan this morning, fingers crossed! What poop timing! Will try more hot compresses still swollen this morning but not as bad as yesterday thank goodness x

So first scan showed 4 follicles on one ovary and 2 on the other all growing to right size range though so that's positive. Im now a bit confused as Does it mean I'll only have 6 gold eggs? I thought I was all clued up and now I've got confused when she said no you could have lots of eggs, but I thought they need follicles? Ah confused xx

Paws, unfortunately not all follicles contain an egg... but yes, eggs can only be contained in a follicle. She might only have given you the count of the big ones, not the 4-5mm ones. Do you have a low AMH if I remember correctly? If so, 6 potential eggs is good going. Quality over quantity is the main thing!!

So here is my little picklet 💕 the heart beat was nice and strong and could see it instantly. Had a big hug with the nurse and got to see my other fave nurse which was so lovely. Going to miss my lovely nurses (not the internals or the crack of dawn starts to get there or the money) they have been superstars.
Want to email them a big thank you. But will do that later

Ooooh congratulations pickle! Fab news! Is that a 4 week scan then? (Sorry being thick again and don't know what 7+4 means lol) sure these hormones are wrecking my brain cells too lol!

Thanks pickle and pez yes have low amh but scan prior to start of treatment I had 10 follicles so where have they disappeared to lol. Yes perhaps she told me the biggest ones, most were 12 cm so that's good? Other 8cm and 10cm.

Desperately trying to find food now to eat which will boost everything. Dark green veg and lots of proteins, fish (which I don't like) but having omega 3. And fruits and seeds. Avoiding soya, Anyone know of anything else?
Oh and I'm drinking organic milk (can't skip my milk love it) x

7+4 means 7 weeks and 4 days gestation. It continues like this with 40 week being term.

Congratulations pickle very exciting. I'm sure an email would be really appreciated, partly because patient feedback is really useful for medical professionals at annual appraisals.

Well the result of the SIS scan was okay. Had quite a thick lining despite being on the pill which is a bit odd but then I have been bleeding quite a bit while on the pill. No polyps or anything in the uterus but only had 5 follicles. The obstetrician also referred to me having a very low AMH and premature menopause. I was only just below the lower end of normal so was a bit surprised by her talking about this tbh. Was feeling a bit teary and down yesterday but a little bit better today.

I had my HSG today, it was a bit uncomfortable but not that bad (got them to use the small speculum!). Feel confident now that I'll be able to cope with IUIs.

Both tubes are patent and the radiologist described my uterus as "textbook" so hopefully plan A (IUI) should be go.

My follow up wasn't booked until December but I popped in to try and move it forward and they offered my an appointment next week(!).

Apparently they have opened another new clinic to try and get on top of their ridiculous waiting times. Think I'll stick with this clinic as my main issue is the ridiculous waiting times which they seem to be doing this about. The receptionist did ask my if my partner had had all of "his" tests again through. Think I need to get "my partner is a woman" tattooed on my forehead!

Also, yay pickle! Must feel so good to see/hear that heartbeat!

Ah same as me with the low amh, but as my nurse said today only takes one egg! Positive thinking! Is this your first cycle?

Hehe tinypaws I had the opposite, I'm single and when my friend and with me they addressed her as the partner which I didn't mind lol xx

wonky I dislike speculums with a vengance!!! And I do not KNOW why all clinics do not use the plastic ones (which are far more "comfortable").

Great news on follies! Lots and lots of blue milk for you up until egg collection/IUI and then reduce back to normal levels as can interfere with implantation.

Bear it was so amazing, surprisingly I wasn't worried it wouldn't be there (mostly cos of the excessive morning sickness and been testing daily on cheapies) but was so relieved there was only one. I kept saying so can you see more than one lol!

Can't test forever as the hcg levels drop off at a certain point....can't remember when. I've only got 2 cheapies left so think I'll only do them if I have a wobble. Very much feeling I can't do anything to change any outcome so why worry about it
I'm just trying to focus that the 24/7 morning sickness is a positive sign even if I feel like total 💩

pickle when did your morning sickness kick in? I'm 5+2 And have been feeling v good, the Odd bit of nausea but nothing bad at all. Except for the sorest boobies ever!!!
