Was waiting for 5 days what they recommended bear? With my 2 I had a day 2 transfer as I was told the best place for them was back in and this gave them the best chance. They said they only wait to 5 days if they want to differentiate between several good embryos. Did they say there was a benefit in waiting?

Bear try not to worry too much when I had only one to put back I thought it was a lost cause but my clinic said they had someone only get 1 egg and when it was put back BFP! So it can happen 🤞🏻

wonky it was my decision to wait 5 days, there is no real benefit other than I will know if it has stopped developing therefore won't have to go through the tww wondering.** I feel that if it is strong enough to make a baby then it will continue to develop inside or outside so would rather wait till Sunday and see (assuming it looks ok tomorrow).

Thanks mandy I would have done a set anyway so having 1 is ok just a bit worried it will stop developing and i'll have none. Would have been nice to get some frosties too because it is going to take a while for me to save up and cycle again if this doesn't work.

My EC went well, have 5 eggs fertilised that I'm hoping do well over the next couple of days. I'm feeling completely knocked out today though. Very sore but also just exhausted, can't even keep my head up on the sofa so staying in bed. Not sure why I'm feeling like this as I expected to just bounce back after. Has anyone else felt like this after EC?

Thats great turtle so will you be Monday for transfer then. I am still sore from collection but not really tired, what time was your collection? I napped most of Tuesday afternoon. Just keep an eye out for OHSS symptoms and contact clinic if you don't feel better.

I got home about 2.30pm yesterday. Did nap a bit but just as tired today! Oh well. Don't seem to have any OHSS type symptoms, though do need to remember to keep up with the water. I'll be hopefully back Mon for transfer, but might go in Sat if it doesn't look like any will make it that far. Just have to wait and see!

Heard back from my clinic today they will have me on Burserilin nasal spray before I start prepping my lining. Has anyone else used this? Is it just as good as the injections?

When are they going to check them turtle? I am sure with 5 you will have some to goto Monday. Did you do egg share? How many did you have to donate?

Sorry mandy not been on buserilin although sure it will be as good as the injections.

As for me, we had our 9 week scan with clinic last night, everything looks to be developing well. Phew! Keeping everything crossed that it was the last time we will need to visit the clinic before we have an actual baby! Xxx

Am glad your scan went well wish. It was such a relief when I had my scan and saw the heartbeat.

It won't be the sedation that's making you so exhausted turtle. That will be out of your system by now. As Bear said contact the clinic tomorrow if you are not feeling better.

So just got call from clinic embryo has divided (it's a bit behind at 6-cells but they said it could be getting ready to divide again). Not top grade but just have to hope it keeps dividing. The 2nd one which fertilised but only with 1pn has actually continued to divide and looks a bit better than the 1st.

They said I could go in today but decided to wait till Sunday and see what they do. They said if they transferred today they would go with the slightly lesser quality one just because they are not sure what the 1pn one is going to do. Just a waiting game now, I won't know until I am there on Sunday

So pleased scan went ok wish :)
