Mandy- I had my first iui in may 2017 and was bfn and 2nd one in July that was bfp. Donor magic potion only, my own egg so very very lucky
I had my amh done in Dec 16, which was 9 and I was 32 at the time, the nurses said this was on the low size for my age. Consultant said it was perfect for iui (good old conflicting advice) I had medicated cycle with Menopur/suprecur/gonasi injections, the first cycle everything went to plan, follicles grew as they should, iui on day predicted but bfn, 2nd cycle follicles weren't really behaving and iui was delayed by about 5days and medication increased slightly until I got a beautiful follicle which got me preg :)
I accepted the support counselling along the way too as I found the iui very very horrifically painful the first time round and it really messed with my head, the second time round I had made the nurse and consultant (a different one this time)aware how much I'd struggled and had some coping mechanism and Altho it was painful (I have a super curved naughty cervix apparently) I felt a whole heap better about it and that is the one that has me 21weeks preggo with my little baby girl.
