Wow, so you are busy too! Just remember to take it easy.

I'm sticking with my acupuncturist here, but she feels it's important for before and after transfer, so it's a weight off knowing they can sort that out for me.

Eight yeah, here and there, just a bit busy, after a fairly quiet summer. But felt it was better to get the trip over with, and then focus on a holiday rather than trying to squeeze this in between work commitments.

I'm not looking forward to down reg as that is my least fave part of the meds as I reacted not brilliantly on my first long protocol ivf, but I'm going in positive so we shall see!

I thought massages in early pregnancy stages are not good?

FRER = First Response Early Response pregnancy test - detect BFPs the earliest.

Have my IVI appt this pm - will report back!

Scan this morning was good 1 follicle at 19 and 1 at 17, lining at 9. The measurements are bigger than the same point in my other 2 cycles so am happy with that. The ultrasound tech seemed to think they might want me back but I am not sure, depends what my hormone levels are I guess. Will find out later this afternoon.

Had a call from my Greek consultant, who wants me to down reg in the next couple of days in order for me to be ready to transfer wk 23rd October. EEEEK its all going on!

Wow Stork amazing news albeit a long down reg. Why is it this early - because of having to do on day 21 of Sept cycle? I hope you will be ok with down reg. Although it is slow release preparation, was told that the worst symptoms are the week following it being given. Do you have the prostap injection in, because I haven't used mine - if you need?

Am not sure about acupuncture before and after treatment. My acupuncturist is anti doing after transfer has occurred but would have done just prior to, but I think I don't want to mix methods of acupuncture practice used. I couldn't do this when I had treatment before because of the distance of clinic to home and timing in general. I think massage is ok around the time of transfer but avoided in 2ww and early pregnancy, although don't think that necessarily applies to say an indian head massage or light shoulder massage, but yeah certainly nothing more heavy going. I have a feeling Serum can provide as well as acupuncture but might be wrong. Reflexology would also be good, because the circulation in my feet is pretty piss poor and I want to feel warm at all times.

Hey ever so Mr D said any meds I didn't use they will refund for me if I bring the meds back to them. So maybe do that with yours?!

Yeah it is a long down reg he explained that taking it day 21 of set cycle wouldn't actually give enough time if I wanted to do transfer week 23rd Otocber, so he thinks best to start now then 19/20 September have a bleed, 7th oct do lining prep for 9 days, scan on the 16, then transfer week of the 23rd.

So Im just going with it if thats what Penny and he think is best!

That's amazing if they refund Stork. I just assumed I was just having to lose £70 quid, no biggie in the grand scheme spends of IVF, but if I can, I will. If you run into any difficulties tho with getting the jab, just let me know.
I guess we are heading toward mid sept now, so yes I can see why the timing would only work on a long down reg. Just seemed so far away.
So exhausted today, had acupuncture and could sleep the rest of day. The weather is feeling decidedly autumnal and it was Miss Mabel's season of birth. Am taking it easy.

Got a bit of a shock today, clinic phoned and said IUI tomorrow. I was expecting Monday but not tomorrow. TWOT here I come 😬

joint I used cryos twice but yep depends on clinic. Many clinics don't allow cryos. Mostly esb and Zytex are used

stork serum will only have my down reg injection back if its Arvekap and not prostap. Prostap- voila. Bum!!

Stork The NHS company I work for banned faxes a couple of years ago so we can only email (yet a lot of the Drs still have faxes!!) so yes it does seem like the dark ages

Wonky I had quite a few scans where ovaries were hiding because of my bowel or butterflies and they just pushed on my tummy in a few places to move the obstructions away

Allie welcome, I am one of the singletons. I've spent about £3k on spermies (including storage) £2400 for 2x iuis and prob about £500 on the initial tests so around 6k and was lucky that it worked on my 2nd try. I brought a batch of 6 straws from Brighton sperm bank as was cheaper and this would have given me 3 attempts as they use 2straws at a time

Ah paisley hello my lovely, hope all the tests go well.are they going to give you luteal support during next iui? If af is coming 11dpiui then isn't really giving the egg a chance to implant well as this can happen anywhere from day 6-12. Wish you the best luck

My IUI went brilliantly yesterday, thanks for all the good wishes ladies. Irritatingly have to be away with work in a hotel for 5 days now, so am travelling heavy with all my favourite bits & pieces. And intending on breakfast in the room, plenty of swims in the hotel pool and early to bed! My team won't understand why I'm not propping up the bar, but hey ho.

Stork I was told Asda would not accept an email version hence I had a posted one but it wasn't at short notice, but I do feel the pharmacist at the Kettering branch would be obliging if you're stuck or obviously you could have mine? Offer still stands lovely... Let me know how you get on.

Well thats me officially back in the tww, everything went ok all numbers apparently were good. Away home to cut up my pineapple (for those who have done the pineapple do I start eating it tomorrow?)

Good to have some company in the TWW london how are you feeling today? I am off work for the next week which is great but have an away day with work the following week so will have to come up with some excuses as to why I am not drinking that evening. Bear I'm okay, thanks. Horrible trapped wind and constipation again (think it's psychosomatic if I'm honest) so mainlining prune juice! Odd to be in a posh hotel room on a Saturday without DP, who's treating me with kid gloves.

My test day is 22 Sept - but AF due on 18th so imagine I'll know before then.

Lovely to be sharing the tww with some wonderful women - fingers crossed for you all

So IVI appt went well - in summary:

• should now be sorred on pre-tests so I can be referred to Spain
• donor coordinator should be in touch next week
• looks like no shortage of donors
• Dummy Embryo Transfer went well - although I got all emosh
• best news ever is that if I do a fresh cycle with donor (rather than adopting an embryo) and blastocysts "left over" will be frozen and I can carry on using them until I get a BFP

Ever I am very excited that you are nearly off to Athens. I wish you very well.

Hoping to hear about lots more BFPs in the next few weeks.
