so tmi alert-had small little blood stringy blob yesterday morning so thought yay AF coming.....nada since 😫
I'm praying it's going to come today the nurse said to still come on Tuesday when I asked the question at my appointment (what happens if no bleeding) just stop the pill on 27th and come on the 2nd, your lining will be thin because of 2 packs. I really can't have them delay this cycle, I can't wait any longer to get started 😭 I was so like oh yay everything will be fine because I'm taking the pill and now I could fall right at the last hurdle 😖

I know it's tough waiting but you're not falling at the last hurdle - you still have a day an a bit for af to arrive before your appointment & they are totally prepared for this sort of thing. I mean they help women who never get their periods get pregnant. Maybe go for a long walk wearing white trousers or something temp fate a little?

Baseline scan is meant to be on day 2-4 of af
Spending day with sister so at least I'll be distracted

Don't worry yet Pickle - AF sounds pretty likely to appear today if you have had the little bloody blob yesterday (my periods often start like that). Your lining must be preparing to shed which is why you lost a bit of blood yesterday.

@Pickle162 What cd is Tuesday? Enjoy your day with your sister and we'll keep everything crossed for you that AF shows up today!

Watched kettle never boils... the drop of hormones would have told your body it's time to shed the lining and spotting is a sign it got the message. It's only a matter of time, don't worry. Your AF is likely to only last 1-2 days anyway and they'll be able to see everything on the scan tomorrow so don't worry 😉

Karen, my viability scan is tomorrow afternoon, at which point I would be 6 + 7. I know I'm definitely pregnant as I have lots of symptoms, including nausea, but I'm still terrified. A friend has offered to come with me and I don't know what to say, I would love to have someone to see the little heartbeat but if it's bad news I'll be a real mess.

Finger crossed AF appears today. Even if it doesn't I am sure the clinic will have a plan to deal with it. Hope you enjoy your day with your sister

I've just got a positive on the pee stick for my LH surge. Off to iui tomorrow.
That 5 days later this cycle. Weird! But the pee stick doesn't lie?!?

I dunno which cd it'll be but should be around 2?
I'm trying just not to go to the loo for a while so can't be disappointed 😔 but yes you are all right it should be here soon

Pickle , the af will show up within next few hours. I waited for the last one also longer than expected and something tells me the same thing is about to happen with the LH surge, too. We just need to go with the flow of our bodies, unfortunately there's no switch or touchscreen display.

I'm also weighing in re littleshoes , I think there's a little boy in there.

Pez - fingers crossed all is well at your scan tomorrow. Your symptoms are a promising sign.

Munro - I hope all goes well for your IUI tomorrow.

Pickle - try not to worry. A later-than-usual AF will just mean your IUI has to be a day or two later than you originally thought. I'm glad I never had the stress of having scans booked on particular days in advance!

There is more than one sweepstake running on LittleShoes I'll look forward to letting you all know next weekend.

The scans are based on when the pill was stopped so if it hasn't come today I don't actually know that it will this month 😔 will just go tomorrow and hope that everything looks ok on the scan so I can start

@pickle162 hang in there!!! You are in perfect time.

@Pez82 if it is a good friend then take her with you - if good news you can celebrate, if bad it may be good to have someone there to fight your corner.

pickle when did you stop the pill? It usually took my 4-7 days to get my period after taking the pill. It will happen. Just have to keep playing the terrible waiting game.

Thu was the last pill and the clinic book this length of time as protocol so fingers crossed all with go ok-12 hours time and I'll know. Hopefully I'll manage to get some sleep as I'll be leaving at about 6.30 to make sure I get there in time. Think there is likely to be tears

Pez and Munro, good luck tomorrow. Pez if the friend is someone you'd be ok crying over if there was a problem then you might as well take them. Unless you actually just want the moment to be private, regardless of news. I have friends I would take and friends that I wouldn't. I don't think I could take my mum, she has too much invested and I couldn't deal with her emotions as well!

Caution is it your teeth tomorrow too? Good luck if so!

SHE HAS ARRIVED 😁😁😁😁😁 does the AF dance 💃 I even cheered YAY when I went to the loo! Thank fek for that!!!!
Managed to sleep on/off for hour or 2 at a time so didn't do too badly. Think I was exhausted from all my worrying (& crying)

So 2.5hours till scan. I'm up, just got to faff with a few things and get ready
