So I've googled myself into a panic... I tend to ovulate CD12/13 is that too early for a decent lining to be built up? I want to make sure there's a good little bed waiting for my embie... af tends to be quite heavy so I know I do a decent lining overall but I worry as that all comes after OV...

Phoenix - I think that's ok. I know my surge was always somewhere cd12–cd14, which my clinic said was fine.

Phoenix, I always ovulate CD11-12 and have very light AF and yet my lining was always thick enough on IUI day so don't worry! It usually went from 5mm on CD7 to 8mm on CD12-13 (they want to see a minimum of 7mm). For my egg transfer they didn't even check!

Hi Pez - I don't know for definite. I think it's a boy. My dad says he knows it's a girl, so someone is very wrong

Pickle - last af I actually want to happen - totally right there with you. Mine just finished, so I'm about to start LH surge anticipation period on Tuesday or so. Mine comes usually around the day 14, so no need to start with opks right away for me. Actually, I need to buy them, as I have only two left.

Shoes , I'm SO EXCITED for you! May is the best month to be born in, I can tell. I love how you didn't find out the sex of the baby, that's something I'm really considering. I'm glad that your mum is better and that you have all the support. Fingers crossed for speedy recovery.

Implications counselling was also compulsory at CRGH. I found the session very insightful. TBH I had not though about the "risk" of half siblings. The counsellor was very clear she was not providing an opinion on my suitability as a potential mummy.

@INeedNewShoes great news about your mum. Looks like you are all set!!!! Please keep us updated!!! I think it will be a girl...

I strongly recommend drinking lots if blue organic milk from AF to ovulation - helps with follies and lining.

Ah I'd be well mad if someone parked in my space- well my neighbours did when they first moved in as the estate agent told them it was a 'spare' space....ummm where the fek did you think I parked,just in the spare space every day for a laugh!!
