I'm with the NHS @LDR so the decision is out of the clinic hands as it were. You can iui with 2 big follicles but not 3. Twins are fine but not triplets.
I'm just out of scan I have one follicle at 10mm and one at 27mm! I'm a bit worried that this is too big.
They've taken bloods to see if I have my OH surge and will call me this afternoon. If no surge then the 27mm might be a cyst 😥
This is my first cycle on Clomid so I'm not really sure what to expect but didn't expect that! I'm so confused right now

Munrowalker · 26/05/2017 11:06

Sorry that should say LH surge not OH! Bloody autocorrect

Bear1980 · 26/05/2017 11:26

Fingers crossed for surge munro 🤞🏻

I am enjoying a nice sunny day off work

Fingers crossed! One of mine was cyst last time, but the other ovary had one at 11mm and they said that would have been fine. I think they can aspirate a small cyst, which 27mm is.

Interesting to know the NHS guidelines, thanks!

pickle162 · 26/05/2017 17:34

@Munrowalker have u heard back from the clinic?

Munrowalker · 26/05/2017 17:40

Hi pickle yes I have. ...its good news. Had my LH surge today so I'm getting my iui tomorrow 😊

Karendvm · 26/05/2017 17:48

Awesome munro! Good luck!!

I called in sick to work today. Feel terribly guilty but I'm exhausted.

pickle162 · 26/05/2017 17:54

Wahoooooooo fab news Munro hoping this cycle is THE ONE! You can share some of my 18days of torture in your tww :)

PhoenixMama · 26/05/2017 17:55

Whooooo hooooooo Munro! Good luck!

LRDtheFeministDragon · 26/05/2017 18:19

Yay! Good luck munro!

Munrowalker · 26/05/2017 20:46

Yes pickle!!! Bloody hate the 2ww

pickle162 · 26/05/2017 20:53

I still have 7 more sleeps 🙄

pickle162 · 26/05/2017 21:12

@Karendvm sorry I missed your post, you did the right thing by taking the day off you need to look after you and if ur work weren't such tw@ts you wouldn't be so tired. I hope you've got the weekend off x

Munrowalker · 26/05/2017 22:40

Totally defeated tonight. My brother just called me to tell me that him and his wife are expecting. I'm so broken by this news. I hate that I can't even be happy for them right now. Totally dead inside.

Calz81 · 26/05/2017 23:00

@munro, I'm so sorry. I know hearing news like that can be so hard and heartbreaking when your trying so hard. Sending you a big hug xx

LRDtheFeministDragon · 26/05/2017 23:42

Oh, munro.

Please, please just concentrate on yourself. Don't feel bad about this honest reaction, and don't spend time on it. Put it out of your mind. Your brother won't even know, so now's the time to put it in a little mental box and think about your body. You've had such good news - your body can make good, suitable follicles. You've had a LH surge right on time. There are hopeful things happening.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 26/05/2017 23:44

Sorry, that sounds awfully pollyanna when I read it back. I don't mean it to be. And I do think being gutted is part of a healthy reaction - just, you shouldn't spend energy worrying about hating that they're happy, because they won't even know you had those (very normal) feelings.

pickle162 · 27/05/2017 02:21

@Munrowalker I think we have all been there, with one of my besties I was soooo happy as she has pcos and had been trying for about 18months my other bestie on the other hand cried every time she got pregnant as life just seems to have everything to her on a plate, home, marriage, babies x 3 & I was downright jealous
My reaction to someone at works pregnancy was to sit on the beach (I was on holiday when she messaged me) and cry but it is what got me started on this journey nearly 19months ago because I thought hell no I am not letting anything hold me back I need to go after what I want.
Don't be hard on yourself for how you are feeling it is completely normal especially with heightened hormones and emotions

I agree with LRD let your emotions out and then move onto yourself.everything is right this time, beautifully large follicle, lh surge. This could be your time and then your little one will have his/hers cousin just waiting for them a few months earlier.

Best of luck for you iui, let us know how you get on x

Munrowalker · 27/05/2017 07:18

Thanks you LED, Cal, Pickle
I have been knocked sideways by pregnancy announcements before but this was something else.
A combination of just really poor timing, total shock and hormones maybe.
It's just our journey has been so long. We had to wait nearly 4 hrs for NHS treatment.
I know it's normal to feel this way but I'm not sure everyone understands. I've already lost one friend because I 'wasn't supportive through her pregnancy (ie avoided her).
Today is a new day. Today I will send my brother a heartfelt message and then crack on with what I've got to do!!!!
Love u guys for the support

pickle162 · 27/05/2017 07:51

@Munrowalker 😘 it is definitely a cruel journey. I don't think anyone who has conceived without any assistance gets it. You've been sooooo patient waiting for that long!
When is your iui booked for today?

I'm feeing a bit meh this morning, so bored of waiting and just don't feel like it's worked and want to know. It's so hard with the injections as they give u such fake symptoms you have no clue what's real or not
I found a lump in my boob yesterday 😔I've booked an appointment for Friday so I find out if I'm pregnant and if I have to go for more tests all on the same day 😫hoping it's just a cyst caused from the hormones and don't have any history of breast cancer in the family but what an emotional day that'll be

PhoenixMama · 27/05/2017 08:02

It's so very hard Munro. And I don't think it even ends after the announcement. I'm going to see friends and their 12 week old today. Ivf worked first time for them and she gets handed a lot of life on a plate. I'm sat crying over another bfn and would rather not go but I can't cancel now.

You have a really important, exciting day ahead of you. Focus on you and hopefully soon it will be your turn to make the announcement.

Munrowalker · 27/05/2017 08:06

Wow pickle that is a rough day. Have u got someone to support you?
I'm sure it's just a cyst as you say triggered by all these hormones. But you are right to get it checked as soon as you can.
The 22w is a hard enough journey in itself. I've still got my fingers crossed for you. If you're feeling low go do something that makes u happy. That's what I was told, my only issue is that all those things are things I should avoid in the 2ww like heavy exercise, surfing, boxing etc! I'm learning to embrace meditation but that's hard for me.
Iui is at 12.30. It's a good time as clinic is 2.5hrs away so although it's the whole day I don't need to leave early.
DH can't get the day off today as he came yesterday but my parents want to come. We will have lunch out and try to make a day of it. Also there is an m&s football nearby and that's a real treat when you live in the highlands!!
Sending good thoughts your way x

Munrowalker · 27/05/2017 08:07

Foodhall not football 😂😂😂

pickle162 · 27/05/2017 08:20

Yeh you don't really want to go much earlier for an appointment if 2.5hours away.
Yay for an m&s foodhall, we are getting one at our local retail park which is 5/10mins away from me wahooo

The nurses appointment is at 7am so not many peeps that want to get up that early for me lol, but a couple of good friends know so can speak with them after :)
I've been testing daily since had iui anyway (sorry shoes) just to monitor trigger out so I'll prob know before Friday if hasn't worked if the line disappears

Bear1980 · 27/05/2017 09:29

Good luck today munro hopefully this is your time.

pickle i'm sure lump is just the hotmones but always best to get checked out.

phoenix sorry about the bfn's, it's tough whe you are just hoping for that line to show up. Are you getting a blood test at your clinic as well?
