Haha phoenix not sure there is an easy way to get through the tww. My plan is to try and not focus too much on what's happening. Sure that will be easier when I am back at work rather than lying on the couch watching one born every minute 😜

Stork I definitely get needing to make a decision in principle before you get there. It is a tough one. Makes sense to take account of what's happened already, but it's not an exact predictor of what will happen next. I'd be going round in circles too. And then maybe I'd just go with my gut when I got there!

Munro how was camping? What day are we on now?

My only countdown on the app left....may need to add my pregnyl injections just to break up the time

Below by popular demand my "patent pending" TWW tips list.

I had my weigh in at SW yesterday - 4.5 lbs off - so pleased! Just need to keep up good work. I am doing yin yoga tonight whuch should help with gammy leg - lots of stretching.
Oh and BTW pickle I had telephone consultation last week with a physio and another today - I have been trying to do the exercises more often. Legs do seem to be improving.

Thanks for the list Kwik! Leaving Copenhagen today & def ready to come home. Took tomorrow off in case I ov'd late so will use it to do some admin & get ready for the week!

I cane into work today after a couple of days off to lots of flapping and hysteria. I just laughed, refuse to get caught up in it because I want a nice stress free tww

Bear & Phoenix day 1 down of our tww wahooo.pma all the way. Yeh just feels very weird to not be doing anything now. I'd love to see what's going on inside but not worrying as nothing I can do either way.
If don't work then I'll just go through that horrific pain again and try again

Pickle did I miss something? why was there so much pain? any idea? (Im sorry regardless!). Im wondering whats different about IUI v IVF eek!

@StorkAhoy it was the speculum, I literally felt like someone was cutting me up from the inside. I'm not a wimp with pain, far far from it but it was horrific and obviously the more I found it painful the more my insides wanted to close up increasing the pain.they were lovely tho and the consultant was stroking my head afterwards which made me cry more.
Then ever since I've had painful swollen abdomen but apparently the prostaglandins present in semen can cause abdo pain. It is easing so just having an easy day (bored already but equally not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow)

I've booked an AMH test at CARE for next Monday... Want to feel like I'm doing something, plus want to know what my ovarian reserve is so I can make an informed decision - IUI or IVF because I'm looking to book my first consult very shortly and want to know what my AMH results will be beforehand, so they know and I know what I'll need. If that all makes sense?!
I'm still going to be using CRGW for the treatment... Just CARE are closer just for a blood
test.

Also went to see my GP this morning about my medication and we've started reducing what I'm on (which isn't a lot now), and he's sending me for the "infertility" bloods (progesterone etc) to be done on day 21. I'm on day 1 today so got to wait three weeks 😩

Pickle, Im amazed, how has our Doc not harangued you about a smear?! and how did you go for a IUI without a recent smear result? do you not need that iui? for my original clinic you needed the bloods and the smear test regardless of type of treatment it was like the first thing one HAD to have. ok so the important thing is not to let you put it off, smears are really important! again, Im so sorry it hurt! xxx

sorry if I sound judgy, Im not really, (kind of in awe of your luck!) I just worry about ladies not doing that as (Im told) its super important.

Awe that's fab news caution once you get that AMH result you'll want to get going asap, so very exciting
Lots of distractions, lots of distractions, I have 17 days wait till preg test....I am actually looking forward to the injections as another step closer to result whatever it may be
Making the most of the beautiful sunshine at the mo as think it's the last we are going to get for a while
Back to work tomorrow which I'm quite pleased about-good distraction and those days def go quick
Starting to feel more human and even smiled (big improvement) my Hand is very over my tummy for most of the day

To echo Stork, how come you've never had a smear Pickle?? That's so odd! In France and Spain I used to have them every 2 years and here they do them every 3 years. You don't receive the letters to book them? No doctor should put women on the pill without a smear.
Mine was due now but the midwife told me I wouldn't get it until after the birth.

I had my booking appointment today. I've been put as high risk so I think the birthing pool option is out...
This is due to hypothyroidism, fractured coccyx and IVF. I'm seeing the consultant on Friday so it's all happening very quick.

Yes I am aware of the risks of not having it done unfortunately it's something I haven't been able to do. Have had bad experiences in the past of stuff down there so it was just too traumatic to do, this has taken huge courage to do iui/scans but I have fought through because I know it'll be worth it in the end.my clinic said they can do it for me when I feel ready as they've done all the scans and now the iui so feel more comfortable with them.... it's not that I haven't wanted to get it done/checked but fear/emotions etc haven't let me. The clinic are well aware I haven't had it done and altho asked at many appointments no one insisted I have it. If they had I would have had it done because I would have had to....perhaps I need to let the nurse know that-bully me in to having it so I'm not allowed to say no.
My current Gp surgery is pretty crap & just sends out a letter automatically 1x yearly around my birthday but my old surgery would ask me all the time but it's a informed decision and no one can force you to have it
Sorry I don't want this to come across as rarrr I'm just trying to explain why.
I don't know if you have them whilst you are preg but if you do then I will have one, if this cycle doesn't work I'll ask the clinic to do one. Either way I'll prob see them to do it (unless it's wayyyy too much money)

Oh that's good pickle, for a moment I thought you had been totally missed out of the system and never received the letters.
So no, you can't have a smear done during pregnancy (they don't recommend opening the cervix), I didn't know this until this morning!
