Hello, I'm a single mum (going through divorce) just wondering if there are any others like me out there that just want to chat in the evening after the kids have gone to bed. I feel very lonely.
Please come and say hi.

Loads of kids films I want to see but my DD 5 won't sit and watch in cinema so we have to make do with Netflix. Any recommendations?

westernchampion · 19/01/2019 22:24

Mine love Madagascar and toy story.

Knockerefc · 19/01/2019 23:11

Match of the day on the tv and eating chocolate. I bought for my daughter but hay needs must....

Frickssake · 19/01/2019 23:26

Well I had a chocolate disaster!
Got two pieces chocolate out if the fridge. Ate one and can't find the other one anywhere! Only me here too.

Frickssake · 19/01/2019 23:27

How old are yours and do they sit through the whole film?

Frickssake · 19/01/2019 23:56

Bedtime - sleep well everyone!

Knockerefc · 20/01/2019 01:08

Well I hope you found your chocolate

Frickssake · 20/01/2019 09:17

Didn't find the chocolate.
Morning everyone. Off to start painting the doors now
What are you lot all up to?

westernchampion · 20/01/2019 09:51

Morning frickssake good morning to you too. My 2 are 5&7 youngest fidgets a bit but 7 year old fine. Have fun painting. I've got to tidy up today.

2018anewstart · 20/01/2019 10:56

I have a free day...going to go out for a nice long walk. Xx

Frickssake · 20/01/2019 12:05

Ooh 2018. Enjoy!
As the morning wore on I've started to feel head achy and rough. Think I'll summon up the energy for tidying up whilst watching the Sheridon Smith thing on TV.
The get DD school things ready and make lunch for self tomorrow.

Knockerefc · 20/01/2019 12:31

I've just got out of bed and I feel like going back to bed as I can't be bothered at all today

westernchampion · 20/01/2019 12:33

That could be the paint. I have to get the stuff that isn't too strong otherwise it makes me feel so sick.

2018anewstart · 20/01/2019 12:56

A walk means I put off doing all the things I should be doing in the house! Also wanted to watch cleaning up let us know what it's like. Hope you are all feeling better!

westernchampion · 20/01/2019 13:32

Going for a walk is good for the mind though. I've done a fair bit this last week.

Frickssake · 20/01/2019 13:51

Never got to watch it! Fell asleep! Woke up groggy so had a shower and popped up to a friend's for a cuppa. Still feel rough......
Hope you enjoyed your walk.
Knocked- hope you feel better soon

Knockerefc · 20/01/2019 14:29

I'm good frickssake. Just lazy. I'm drinking tea and then I need to get out of this flat for a bit.
Is anyone doing dry January or are we all T-Total anyway?

Frickssake · 20/01/2019 15:41

I really can't drink anymore. Occasional archers and lemonade when out ( hardly ever these days) and then just the one. I fall asleep! I'm getting old!!!!?

westernchampion · 20/01/2019 16:06

I can relate to that. I bet your not as old as me either.🙂

Knockerefc · 20/01/2019 16:10

I'm doing dry January and I'm starting a 5 day detox tomorrow. I think you drink water only or something. I'm going to miss my cup of tea

Frickssake · 20/01/2019 16:20

Ooh no! I can't do without a decent cup of PG!

westernchampion · 20/01/2019 16:21

Good for you knock.

Bonkerz · 20/01/2019 17:08

Split for husband about 9 weeks ago now.
Been through the sadness and the anger. He's living at his mums. Sees the kids once a week.
I've just sorted my finances. I'm staying in the home with the kids.
Finding evenings horrid. Tend to be in bed by 6!
Have decided to decorate to try and fill the nights !

westernchampion · 20/01/2019 17:34

This time of year doesn't help either dark early and cold. Roll on the spring. I hope we can help in some small way to make evenings more enjoyable for you.

Knockerefc · 20/01/2019 18:30

Do you go walking by yourself for hours then western?
