Is a dad buying necessary underwear for his pre-pubescent daughter weird?

I have my 11 yr old daughter 50% of the time. I bough her an extra first bra (same size and brand as existing) for her hols with me. Her mother thinks it’s “wholly inappropriate for me, father to my child, to be buying her underwear and gas threatened to take matters further if I do it again. Am I missing something? What on earth is wrong with a dad buying his daughter necessary underwear like this? Would love to know if in fact I am being unreasonable/ in appropriate.

I have 2 boys and 2 girls, I used to buy their underwear all the time when they needed it, I can not see a problem and if she was to take it further what would she be telling them, that's what I would worry about, my ex used the police to try and manipulate things, when she realised it was getting serious she backed tracked. I think the mum needs to grow up.

My father took me shopping for a bra when i was a teenager. nothing weird. He just waited not too far while i chose and tried and then paid .

He is buying underwear for his 11 year old daughter, he hasn't gone out and looked at all the different types of bras about and picked the nicest one he went out and bought the same type and size as the one she has. I don't think he has crossed any boundaries
