Sorry Amber my week has been a cross between the Twilight Zone and soap opera with falling ratings at Christmas.

Today's joy looking after dDad while working. It feels like the toddler years are back (minus trying to fish fuzzy felt out of bottoms and sultanas out of noses hopefully). Thankfully they have superfast internet so I can "work".

Definitely a boss who gets the hump unescorted . They are also talking redundancies, and I don’t really want to get the push without another job.

Buying/selling houses is so stressful. We were being told by our sellers to encourage our buyers to give notice on their rented place to move quickly (fortunately they didn’t). Sellers then pulled out (messy divorce). Awful!!!

We’ve just been out to dinner! I would say no washing up tonight, but I still had to do all the lunchboxes and drink bottles still.

Gen hope everything went ok at the hospital yesterday.

amber thanks, the surgery went well, I didn’t sleep at all for some reason last night even though I was desperate to, I was wide awake all night and only got about 30 mins at 6am before DH alarm went off at 630.
I think the lack of sleep has made the pain etc worse, I called the GP and unfortunately didn’t get my own GP but a nasty one who basically said there is nothing they can do and then demanded the number for the surgeon to call him before she can prescribe anything. Except he is in surgery (as I already tried to call him) which is why I called her. Sighhhhhh

Oh that's rotten Gen I hope they give you some painkillers soon. There's not enough understanding that people are different in their pain threshold and respond differently to painkillers too. It's not one size fits all!

Thanks all, the surgeon called me back and is sending me stuff through, he was quite ratty with me because the GP had had a go at him (!) why do some GPs do this?! All she had to do was prescribe me something to see if it might help, but no, had to try and play god
