Thanks wolf
I made it to NI safely - the plane was completely full with no spaces between seats but they kept going on about social distancing as we entered and left the plane Hmm because covid only infects you on the stairs not when you’re sitting jammed between two strangers for an hour.
We are setting up the memorial service now, it is thankfully a nice day as it has to be outside. Feeling quite sad but also really grateful I can be here to support my mum.

Thanks wolf.
Pleased you made it gen. Big hugs today

I find my basics hand whisk better too. Happy to tea shop too. It's one thing I say if I ever lose my job.

Thanks life. I think my mum already did that, but actually I need to get her to change it to single person occupancy as Ddad unlikely to come home.

Visit to Ddad was a bit sad. He was very happy with the sweeties I took him and opened them, but he dozed and snored the most of the time I was there. I’ve tried not to take offence 😆 but it did hit me how unlikely getting any real quality of life back for him may be.

Food shop was £36.

Done a bit of money shuffling as pay day

Gen glad you made it safely but wtaf re the seating on the plane Angry

I bought a handmixer that sits on a stand as I don't feel I bake enough to justify a few hundred euro on a stand mixer. It's a kenwood chefette

Hi all. Spends today were £10 donation to my favourite charity but that’s all. Yesterday we spent £137 at Sainsbury’s but didn’t really seem to buy anything useful 😬 Got enough to make yesterday’s dinner, tea tonight and some dinners for next week. There were a lot of crisps etc and some rum which was £21. Feeling a bit bad about all that. However, with what we’ve got in the fridge and freezer it should all last about 12 days so not too bad. Hope everyone else is ok. Thanks for the thread @Wolfcub

Mortgage decision in principle received, it's a subjective one and apparently the underwriters will
Give it especially close scrutiny after the application. I can't believe that people can actually get trapped in this way by the system it's like divorce just keeps slapping you in the face.

Hmm. Can you contact the underwriting team. I've been in direct contact with mine and they have been good. Slightly different situation though.

Parking at the forest to say and probably chipper tea. Virgin Media have disconnect us as we were meant to move yesterday even though I cancelled them

Glad you made it to NI Gen
Last night was fab, we had our takeaway cheeseboard & wine, watched a lockdown concert dh was given a pass for for his birthday & then a hastily arranged video call with friends which was brilliant. Just what we needed to lift the spirits a bit.
Thanks for the sourdough advice unescorted I think the penny has finally dropped with me so I am going to reduce the size of my "mother" so that I don't end up discarding. Yesterday's loaf with 20% whole meal flour was better again so it is definitely going to be a regular thing as its so much easier on the digestion which is particularly good for dd.

Discovered I didn't bring all 14 vouchers with me buying fridge freezer so I've another €10 to go against my cooker.
Have had an enquiry about my instant pot on Facebook marketplace so hopefully that'll sell. My halo is starting to creak so a new air fryer might be happening sooner than later.

I have just listed a pile of stuff on Ebay do fingers crossed it will all sell. I want to list a couple more things but need to get them down from the loft first. We have also managed to book a slot at the tip - the great clear out is ON!

Excellent snuggly
When I move nothing is coming into the house without a home and if it's destined for utility it can live in garden shed or hot press temporarily

€3 stamps

Sold instant pot for €75, it's €95 new on Amazon and has free postage there but buyer seems happy. He's paying me on revolut today which I only set up during the week so I'm happy with that.

Thank you for the new threadWolf. The mortgage situation sounds awkward, hope it works out in your favour.

Hope things are ok with you Gen.

Big "Yesterday we spent £137 at Sainsbury’s but didn’t really seem to buy anything useful"

I do the same at times with the supermarket. I annoy myself.

Happier that's great about the sale Smile. I like your idea of nothing coming in without a home, too.

Snuggly good luck with the sales. I sold quite a bit around Christmas but hardly anything since Feb.

Enjoy your walk Unescorted

I am trying to advise my Dd2 BFF. Her sister is fraudulently applying for loans in her name. She only found out by accident bless her , the company sent her a Direct Debit Letter to set up the payments , so she rang the company and they worked out between them it was her sister, her sister achieved the first loan but since then there have been 3 other attempts in the last 3 days which have been declined. She doesn't know what to do about it . She is NC with her and although their relationship is non existent she doesn't want to report her to the police. I am finding it difficult to advise her what to do tbh, any ideas please? She's a lovely girl just hasn't got much idea what to do and am afraid l haven't either ! Thank you !

mrs so the sister has already applied for one loan in the bffs name? Technically this is identity theft. And absolutely should be reported. The BFF will be liable for the loan I believe.
