My migraines are hormonal so that's why pregnancy got me. Also when I was on the combined pill now I can only take the mini pill.

Ds woke shouting for me at 5:20 to put his cover on and I can't get back to sleep my friend is having the dc today whilst I work but she lives 20 miles from me so need to leave early.

Have a lovely time on holiday! Two weeks in the sun sounds wonderful and prioritising family time is so much simpler when away from our every day stresses.

We're also on our holiday which is making it harder to feel like I'm starting off this journey in a practical way but I have set a daily budget which we've stuck to so far (well, I say 'we', I haven't actually told dh we're in this journey yet - he was most surprised when I stuck to water and had no starter or pudding out at dinner last night 😂)

I think some more stores have been added to the lidl veg box for £1.50 trial. My closest store is on there now.

Bloody hell I've already spent £52 this morning in Sainsbury's. 2 tops for me, 4 tops and some swimming shorts for DS, PE tops and wellies for DD all 25% off and then strawberries and cheese. I told DD she could choose a treat and she chose strawberries. Last time she chose raspberries. I offered her one of my posh chocolates and she had one but told me I'd have to brush my teeth well because they are very sugary! She's taken her recent dental appointment to heart!

Cag Thanks for asking. The video was a lovely duet called Duo des fleurs, and I especially like it because it's a video of a rehearsal so the two singers have woolly jumpers on. It's the music from the British Airways commercials of the 1980s if you remember that. I find it very soothing to the soul. Zzzzzz

Pleased to say the DS has his first choice offer for Uni, so he's off in October to do a Masters in Maths at Lancaster.

God, A Levels have been the most stressful experience of my life I think!!

Masters in the final year .
I hate to say but funding uni for 2 has made the stress of A levels seem a distant memory .
3rd DC starts this year just as1st finishes #FML
